Was listening to the phone-in after the CL games last night and a Bolton fan phoned in and was depressed at the thought of Megson taking over. A Leicester fan then phoned in and was releived that Megson had gone. I had to agree with Tim Lovejoy, why, all of a sudden is Gary Megson the man of the moment? He fucked up Nottm Forest big time.

Don't have strength in depth? Have to disagree Craig. Arsene puts out a reserve team in the Carling Cup every season and they beat 99% of the teams they face. The beat Newcastle 2-0 this season with a younger than normal side. Strength in depth is one of their strong points I'd say.

It's 30+ away games. Great record to have Didn't watch the game tonight but glad when I heard Benfica had scored. Made it all the sweeter that it was 3 minutes from FT. Caught Chesneys post-match interview and he said that the Celtic mascot had to get his boots taped up because the make of boots the mascot was wearing weren't the same as the official sponsor of the CL and this affected the Celtic players. What a scorcher of an excuse!!! Champions League yer havin a laugh!

Well, if you think about it the current RB at Liverpool, Finnan is in his 30s now so maybe they are looking at a bringing a yonuger player in. It's beleivable........ ...or not!

I thought that too and was raging when we played 1 up against Stuttgart but we won so I was happy. Against Lyon it was never in any doubt how many we'd play up front but we won again. Last night we were playing probably one of the best team sin europe and we drew with them. The tactic can be boring at times but as long as it works then it's successful. Just don't use it in the SPL, especially with Boyd playing the lone striker. :devil: -

Last night Slavia Prague had a corner and 5 passes later Arsenal had scored. It doesn't get better than that!!! They actually did it 2 or 3 times last night, scoring on the counter attack. Their 1st touch is just awesome.

I don't know if Frankie will post a MOTM thread tomorrow so I thought I'd bit the bullet and do it myself. For me it was Cuellar, absolutely fantastic again. Before tonight I thought Saturday was his best performance in a Rangers jersey but tonight, up against Messi, Henry and the long haired horse he didn't look out of place. It was a tough choice because no one had a poor game but Cuellar sneaked it for me.

In the best form of his life but to say he's the best right back in europe is debatable. I'm not saying he's not but there's loads of RBs out there who are world class. Anyway, he had another fantastic performance tonight bombing down the right and putting in some crackin' tackles. Well done!

Haha what a fuckin' loser! No one needs to shake hands after the game but it's sportsmanlike. It's him with the sportsmanship problem not the Rangers players who set out to "hurt" him during the game. He's a bad loser and a bad winner. End of!
