Martin Bain poised to return as Rangers chief executive
aweebluesoandso replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
You would think MArtin would have had enough of sooking Liewell's boaby. -
I don't believe this SPL2 will happen any time soon, there's very extra little money too pass around, if we are to believe the SPL premier league is in financial trouble, where can they find the extra to finance an SPL2? Of course all this talk is even before they could get permission from the SFL to leave their ranks.

Clever statement from Longmuir and the SFL, the ball is firmly at the feet of the SFL there's an open goal. No rush needed though. Next season or the season after for league change and without the SPL pulling the strings.

One thing I can agree on is if we never hear mention of investigations, committees, panels or statements there from ever again relating to Rangers,
-
Other team supporters notably Hivs, Dundee Scum, Scum, Sheeprapers and Hearts, see it as a way of keeping us in the lower tier's for longer, they will urge other clubs to vote for that and reconstruction or deconstruction of us.

I'll try and hold my breath till monday.

Ach I don't know, I'm a member of the RST now but do we need to be seen doing or saying something at present? Any message they want to convey could get lost in all the bluster and shouting from the Mhedia.

It's an all out attack on the Protestant and Loyalist culture and heritage simple as, if it was happening to any other minority never mind a majority, there would be marches on Hollyrood possible even civil disturbance, like Lambs to the slaughter though with my community.

Financial blow for Scottish football's restructure plan
aweebluesoandso replied to bigy's topic in Rangers Chat
I can agree with that, but did the SPL not then tighten up and increase the rules and punishments for insolvency and administration events, after they let us off with the slap on the wrist for our events (Just joking There) However now the shoe is on the other foot so to speak, knowing that administration is a real possibility for a few SPL clubs maybe they have decided to relax those rules again so that those SPL clubs going into administration are not relegated to the third division, heavily fined and big points deductions. I would not put that past the corrupt cartel. -
This shit just got real.

Financial blow for Scottish football's restructure plan
aweebluesoandso replied to bigy's topic in Rangers Chat
If the rumours about Dundee United are true and the Bank is propping them up time being, then this would explain Thompson desperation to get this reconstruction pushed through. Although they would still be in the financial toilet, maybe he's more concerned with the aftermath of administration. As we have seen the SFL deal with administration events far more leniently, therefore maybe the new articles of association look more favourable too (being forewarned about the forthcoming alleged Hearts and Dundee-U Administration events) in dealing with these circumstances. Just some random thoughts here. -
We all know how this works now, his and the clubs e-mail inbox's will be full in the next few days from supposed fans demanding he vote for reconstruction or they will boycott Ross county and wont be buying season tickets. He'll be left wondering where the extra 20k supporters materialised from?

We were told the SPL was booming a few months ago, everything was hunky-dory without Rangers, so whit the fook has happened?

Spiers is no more a Journalist than I am still an astronaut, since i was made redundant from the NASA Mars landing team. He is however a bigger and better liar than i am.

An outbreak of honesty in the SPL, hope it catches on.
-
I agree Ally is the supporters eyes and ears from the inside as is Walter, i still support Charles Green atm. But if Ally says "one out all out" then i'm out.
-
Donkeycaster and that other donkey Thompson from Dundee United both said "the reconstruction needs to be now or never" why the desperation? this legal claim might be the answer to their desperation to pass on the liability to every club after the merger.
-
Good article Gribz, there's side article in today's Hootsmon back page about the SPL and their potential £1mil legal claim from Harry Hood. The threat is this claim could potentially be borne by every football club should the SPL/SFL merger go ahead, so potentially it could be a deal breaker. You could add that in as a warning to the SFL clubs.

I don't think he has lost the "rank and file Bear" yet, some of the more clued up and higher echelon Bears allude to more or further outpourings in the coming weeks. But dealing with the here and now re the Whytegate, most Bears and I include my self in this, take the position it took a thief to catch a thief , I'm not calling Charles a thief, merely using that saying as an metaphor. We Bears we happy breed we just want our club to survive and flourish, but also to survive and flourish by playing within the rules. So we can keep our heads in the traditional place, way above the Mhanky mob.

Big characters big ego's, however this egotism can be channelled in the right direction. Charles imo is at his best when he's ripping into our enemies and winding them up. But he needs to tone down the bullshite and flights of fantasies. Maybe he needs some more media coaching from Traynor before letting him loose again?
-
That's a good idea Gribz , but i would not stop there. I would invite other teams to join an SFL premier league.,teams like Kilmarnock. Motherwell, Dundee, ICT even Hearts (if they survive) will be looking to join a more fair and financially stable SFL

I'm going to make Murray an offer of £1 for his businesses, you never know,
