another season in the Championship - which I believe will happen - and we will not be getting 45,000 for matches. However maybe reducing ticket proces will incentivise certain fans to enable to get a decent crowd. I think we're deluded if we think that we'll be back up to regular attendences of 45,000 in the Championship again next season.

If, as expected, we are the Championship again next season, then we must try and turn this into a positive by ensuring our players are drilled week in week out to perform at a high level so that they are prepared for when we do go up next season. Next season, keep ticket prices at a reasonable level - reduce them if possible - fill the stadium as much as possible and start to creat a more positive atmos at games. This can also be helped by performances on the pitch.

I would strongly suggest that King has factored in the fact that there is a strong possibility that we will not be going up this year. A blind man can see that that is a realistic scenario.

To be honest - that's my only hope mate. I have been chomping at the bit to get these Newcastle players in to the team. They can ONLY improve on what we have. I think, in paticular Birgirimana could add some much needed spice and energy to the midfield and I think Streete can had some aggression and pace to the centre half position. Ferguson can ad some pace and creativity. These guys have to get some game time soon so that that can then be ready for the play off's. Still, if i was a betting man, I'd be reluctant to put money on us beating Hivs over two legs and then beating the second bottom team over two legs. Quite frankly we are relying on the Newcastle lads hitting the ground running and really taking on the challenge of the play off's. We need to use the games between now and then as strong preparation.

I'm resigned to another season in the Championship. This group of players haven't got it in them to win 2 two-legged play off's.

I don't have evidence. But you can bet your bottom dollar that King is not coming into this pennyless. He has done his homework and knows the score. I am convinced there will be sufficient cash to clear the mess and get the ball rolling. If there wasn't, he wouldn't be in this position. I am a glass half empty bear but even I have optimism when it comes to our future financial position under King and his colleagues and investors. I also feel King was deliberately playing it down in his press conference.

I think King will have more than sufficient cash behind him to deal with these pricks. I feel he has some big investment people behind him willing to do a proper job on rebuilding our club.

Dave King has claimed a “landslide victory” in his bid to claim control of Rangers FC. The South African-based businessman claims all his resolutions have been passed with no need for Friday’s EGM to take place. On Monday, Rangers chairman David Somers resigned with chief executive Derek Llambias and finance director Barry Leach facing motions to remove them from the board. I agree. Walter has a lot to answer to with regard to the dire football 'philosophy' which has engulfed our club for years. On top of that he had us playing some shocking 'football' which we have continued to this day. I wish he had left McDowell at Celtic and I wish he had not recommended Ally as manager.

I've never been a big Walter Smith fan, so I am not particularly excited by this.

I'm pretty sure they will have a better CEO lined up - that much is guaranteed IMO.

I know it's not difficult - but he has pretty much got the best touch at the club. Name a player who has a better touch??? The problem is that he is surrounded by thick players who have not got any touch, vision, composure or control.
