I don't mind McLeish even if he did sign some of the worst players that I have seen at Rangers in my lifetime. Why he would put himself in this position I don't know. The owner is also a bit of a tit for doing this, maybe because McLeish won a trophy the owner thinks he might do it again. The Villa fans will be interesting to watch, can't see him lasting 6 months.

If true we will be into about the 3rd game of the season with 17 players this can't be true. Business needs to be done quickly so the team can gel because there is hopefully going to be a few additions, plus CL qualifiers. I just don't see the method in that at all.

The 2009/10 title wasn't the rest were, but we showed up when it was needed most in the final games of the season by beating our opponents quite comfortably and not making it squeeky bum time. I didn't think this would be the right choice for many reasons: 1) Eck managed Birmingham, Villa's rivals 2) I was actually surprised he kept his job the owner of Birmingham is a person you can never be sure about 3) Why did he resign Villa fans wouldn't take to him 4) What other jobs are about? I don't mind Eck but he brought some awful players to our team and brought us a third place, one very sour point on a reasonable spell as manager.

Barca are also using Bojan for Fabregas until a bid is made its just speculation. Back to us I can't see us getting Weiss, just need to move on I'm afraid.

I would say we need 4 strikers. Beattie doesn't cut it. That leaves Lafferty and Jelavic. Obviously Naismith can play up there but has played well just off the strikers. I would say we need another winger so that might include an Argentinian...

I thought they were supposed to be, well for the home that is what I heard. Another pass for another kit for me, maybe I'm not liking the whole package, design, kit designer and the sponsor is very tacky as well.

I don't get Wenger. He has 4 other centre backs ahead of Bartley alright one is quite chronic currently and the other 3 can be a hit or a miss and I also thought he was after Cahill anyway...
