In 1961 from Aug 30th to Nov 4th a bloke by the name of Christie played 7 games for Rangers at centre-forward and scored 8 goals including 1 in an OF game and a double in a 3-2 win against AS Monaco in the European Cup, very impressive. His eighth and LAST game was against Dundee in a 5-1 defeat at Ibrox, on Nov 11th. Anyone got any information on this player, why did he never play for Rangers again, where did he end up?

With respect mate I'm not being dismissive more like realistic...if the tables were turned and timmy were in Div3 and us playing Barcelona then an Atlantic league would get the vicky from me - that's all I'm saying, what's wrong with that?

Fact is they done it this season and if the shoe was on the other foot I'd be rubbing my hands right now....they have a brilliant opportunity to up their co-efficient and already have - who's to say that wont be the case over the next 4 years? An Atlantic league is the last thing they want.
