does anyone know when we will likely know outcome of todays events ? or will it just be printed in every rag tomorrow as another negative Rangers story

After reading some people's posts on whether Naismith should be rested on Saturday or not for United game I was wondering who would be your starting 11 when everyone is fit :sw: :kbartley: :dg: :sn: :sd: :mm: :ab: :nj: :kl:

McKay arrives in Scotland and is available for Utd match

Only in order to allow Naismith to be fresh for the game against the mhanks mate no other reason than that. -

Utd game might be too soon for McKay but if we have intentions of partnering him with Davis in middle then imo he should start on Saturday so that he is ready for the mhanks a week on Sunday. I'd go with this on Saturday :ab: :sd: :mm: :gw: with Naismith playing off Jelavic if Lafferty isn't fit and if Lafferty is fit I'd have Naisy on bench -
Brilliant mate thanks for that

I thought Fenerbache had money problems and had asked to be relegated ? had seen the report on ssn last night though

Darren Huckerby still looks like he could do a job. Mols was brilliant last night the last goal was a touch of class on a different note though what has happened to Mark Walters he's not been in team for a couple of tournaments now was always brilliant in the earlier ones.
-
Possibly harsh on Stensaas but as a big fan of Davie Robertson he was always going to struggle replacing him and ended up being stuck in middle of the two finest left backs i have seen in my time following Rangers Robertson and Numan Djordjic played for us briefly under McLeish and was terrible how he earns a living from game is beyond me.

Letizi Ross Stensaas Svensson Rodriguez N'Diaye Djordjic Emerson Mladenovic Jeffers Ostenstaad

I wouldn't be surprised if Jelavic was to move on now, Hope to God I am wrong but can see him going I don't think Man Utd will be his destination though unless they get rid of Berbatov first.

:sd:motm for me agree with Frankie the wee man was everywhere yesterday nod of approval to Ortiz, Lafferty and Goian who everytime i see him just looks more and more assured at the back. McMillan also done well considering he was booked in first half I though he handled second half brilliantly -
Agree it has be a mixed bag so far a C is probably a fair assessment i'd go with this team when everyone is fit and available 4,3,3 .................................................McGregor.................................... Whittaker.................... Bartley...................... Goian.......... Wallace. ...................................Bedoya.......................McKay...................... .................................................Davis.......................................... .............Naismith...............................................Lafferty................ .................................................Jelavic.........................................

Dorin Goian warns Rangers to be wary of Maribor

looking back on the Malmo tie it was first leg at Ibrox that cost us imo we just didnt show up that night McGregor aside, second leg we were better team by far even after going down to 10 then 9 men it was a totally gutting feeling crashing out having played so well over there a man down for majority of game. -
I thought the wildcard deadline was 11pm on Wednesday and the signing deadline for this round was 5pm tonight but I might be getting this mixed up with the last round of Champions League qualifiers ?

I'd also like to see Weiss in and at £4m I think it would be a good investment for future but I don't see our board going to £4m for Weiss hopefully I am wrong and we do get him or a player of similar quality in before end of window. -
what time is deadline today ?

Lifted this from FF Absolute dynamite story written by Darrell King. Headline in Herald: Rangers call in lawyers over HMRC 'leak' Headline in Times: Rangers: We'll sue taxman. Whyte to call in cops over 'tape' Info so precise it must have come direct from the top at the club. To summise * Rangers have obtained evidence that a Scottish newspaper has a recorded conversation of an HMRC official passing on details of the sheriffs officers visit and other confidential info * They are talking to the police as a criminal act may have occured, due to the rules that govern HMRC workers * Rangers ready to sue HMRC as the leaks damaged the business, credit rating, ability to trade etc.. * Whyte agreed to pay £2.8m bill - then a 65 per cent penalty was added, ie another £1.8m. He is vigorously disputing this. * Club has been subjected to three PAYE inspections in last three months, when normal pratice is one in five years at any company. * Sheriff officers served a bill saying payment must be made inside 14 days - and then walked out. No evaluations etc like the media frenzy claimed. * Club feels clear 'anti-Rangers' agenda at HMRC office and has reported this to the very highest level, and also the threat of legal action and police involvement. * On the bigger tax bill, QC Andrew Thornhill, defending the club, remains 'very confident' Rangers will be cleared. Someone at HMRC is in big trouble here if the police get this tape. What has been going on here is a disgrace, and fits in with the friends of 'our man across he water' who work at HMRC and have now mysteriously disappeared off his Facebook friends list. I hope each and every one of them gets whats coming to them Time to go to war, Mr Whyte.

Troublesome Tax Issues Compound Financial Fears For Rangers Fans

This is what I have been saying to a few mates as well For all the tims who are lovng this because the so called journo Phil had the scoop him having leaked the story a few days before event highlights there is an agenda against our club by certain parties or if not an agenda a leak from either within our club or the HMRC department dealing with us, Craig Whyte and the club must have some reasonable grounds to complain and possibly look for Compensation- 29 replies

I'd heard they quoted £4m for Weiss earlier this summer to a Spanish side. really can't see the wee man getting many games there but they seem determined to loan him out rather than sell him and Mancini seems to be dead set against him coming back here. -

Is it not the case that an agreement was reached regarding the £2.8m tax bill ? I thought I'd seen on Sky sports something along those lines or were they off mark again ? I have faith Mr Whyte will come good for our club I just think until the uncertainty of the big tax case remains he will air on the side caution with regards to spending money.- 29 replies

I think Bougherra will care if he is picked or not for the international team he always put Algeria first whilst with us and I think it'll matter to him should he lose his place. I can't see it happening myself but he does seem to have issues with weight from time to time so if he is in an easier league and training environment he might struggle to shift extra few pounds
-
I noticed today his International manager saying he might be less inclined to pick him as he is in a lower standard of League or words to that effect. Madjid might already be realising what a mistake he has made.

Madjid Bougherra says Rangers offer 'made me sick'
laudrup11 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The bit I don't get is He is complaining about contract offer 1 minute then the next saying it is time for a new challenge surely it wouldn't have mattered what we offered if he wants a new challenge ?
