How do they define a dual contract then ? If it is aimed at us paying a percentage of wages then topping it up at later date/Time does that not amount to same thing as Dermot Desmond paying certain players a percentage of their wages ? eg Robbie, Roy Keane and others ?

Agree with what Frankie has said there If you cast your mind back to the Kilmarnock game at Ibrox in February ( I know unlikely ever to be forgotten for non footballing reasons) Shiels imo was brilliant that day in way he drifted into space where more often than not he'd create something against us. he has the potential to be a very big player for us in next few seasons, he is a clever player who could be key to unlocking tight defences in matches.

The fact he has signed for St Johnstone would indicate it wasn't all about money imo he could have went down south for a lot more than what he will be getting at St johnstone

From what I gather Beattie was Allys first choice and wanted him and Sandaza to spearhead the attack for next couple of seasons. Ally phoned Craig on the Tuesday morning saying he wanted deal done quickly to introduce him to fans, 3 hours later Charles Green told them deal was dead. Maybe Ally has had a change of heart now and see's Kyle as a better fit beside Sandaza who knows

Like most on here I followed in my Dads footsteps thanks to him and his two brothers when he couldn't manage to take me himself I have been going to Ibrox reguarly since i was 4 31 now and taking my son and two daughters along to follow on the family tradition

I think Green has done a decent enough job in short time he has been with the club There are still issues I'd like to see cleared up but so far he hasn't done much wrong to make me feel he isn't up to the job.

We should win The League comfortably this season and hopefully next I think we will have a real go at winning both domestic cups and see no reason why we couldn't achieve that with a bit of luck. My only fear this year is injuries to key players as I can see some games turning into a Pub League type scenario if we are comfortably ahead were opposition just take turns at kicking lumps out of our players.

Not disputing that mate but Sandaza was fairly vocal in his disgust at what was offered My point is I'd rather we spent what little money we have on a player who would burst a gut and wants to play for us than someone who is just happy to see £'s signs. what happens if a year from now Sandaza goes in a huff and wants out we are stuck with no option of replacing him. ( I know it could happen with anyone but less likely if player has club at heart imo)

Out of the 3 strikers we have been linked with I'd prefer if we signed Craig Beattie He's a life long fan will score goals and put in a decent shift Sandaza knocked us back twice last year if reports are to be believed claiming money on offer was an insult, so why now come when we are in 3rd division unless we are throwing silly money at him. Kyle although decent and probably more than capable of doing a job throwing a deal at someone his age and with his fitness issues isn't the way to go imo

I think if we sign Robbie Neilson we will see Broadfoot revert to centre half and it will be him Perry and Goian to choose from for a pairing.

I think you may be right mate regarding the signings of U18's at least that was the case when they tried to impose the embargo originally
