  1. I love big jig. however, he's just about the first player we should be looking to get rid of. all in despite previously taking a pay cut he gets 20m most weeks. the news he's definately staying and will continue to get that probably even in the 3rd division isn't ideal. I doubt Charlie's delighted either.
  2. so far as I can make out ver few of the staff like or trust green one bit.
  3. load of push designed to embarrass us.
  4. tupe means their contracts must be honoured in full.
  5. looks like we will have at least one.
  6. winning more titles than we lose.
  7. you mean if costs are cut. spending on for example the stadium reduced. but even then working capital will be an issue. wage budget might need to be as low as 8 to 10 million. what if Davis decides he's staying on 2 million a year? 20 to 25% of the budget gone at a stroke. greigs 1.5 million. jigs already staying at a million. half the budget gone on 3 players perhaps.
  8. I mean he can't afford them all.
  9. yeah. it would mean a huge shortfall in the budget. I don't believe it would be the 10 million often talked about but 5 million easy and that assumes income stays the same. of course that assumes green isn't selling quickly. if he is the opposite is of course true. clubs more valuable with players.
  10. its highly debatable tbk offered to little. indeed its debatable the offered less than green at all.
  11. if all the players do this green will be screwed.
  12. I'm not so sure mate. green brough over tv cash and sponsorship money as well as season book cash from the oldco. he will be ok for a good while without putting a penny in.
  13. to think people didn't believe this.
  14. the statements wrong about applying to the spl already. or so it seems. par for the course.
  15. couldn't agree more with Chris and I for one will back Walter with a season book.
  16. including green and his promises to raise 20 million. back green if you want but realise this he can't raise the required cash and the reality under him is budgets cut drastically. perhaps in half.
  17. enough money for what? a too small cva?
  18. this nonsense about green being the only one to step up has to stop. their were any number of other bids. his just got chosen. very suspiciously I might add. green liquidated us and bought us or peanuts. he's not the messia......
  19. rangers will be in a terrible state if its owners don't put cash in. millions are needed in stadium work and in working capital etc. we can't afford to be owned by green. its that simple.
  20. confusion reigns.
  21. we also need cash at bank to see us through lean months. so were not going to ticketus or into an overdraft.
  22. lack of funds prevented it previously. lloyds really. those are my theorys on how the cash should be spent but Walter etc will know far better than me of course.
  23. well I do hope people remember this when it comes to away days.
  24. much has been neglected over the last 5 - 7 years. not least the stadium. estimates at whytes time of purchase IIRC were 4 million ish needing spent. green actually spent some. our youths have been woefully neglected. there's a hole in the budget of say 5 million to be filled. proper scouting to be put in place. I think we will see this in Walters plans explained no doubt better than I can.
