If a business worth millions to the country was in danger of going tits up do think he wouldn't be all over it, or is it because he doesn't see any potential votes in it for him.

It's all about the photo op and spending the Tax payers money. While taking your eye off his shambles of an independence plan. Shameful excuse for a politician never mind a man.

Slightly concerned about feedback from Green's NI trip
GovanAllan replied to Max Rebo's Big Blue Nose's topic in Rangers Chat
Sorry mate if I picked you up wrong, I couldn't give a monkeys who plays for Rangers the same way as I dont bother who supports us. Any section of support is going to try and reflect its beliefs onto the way it supports its team it's human nature. I have a fair few mates who are members of the OO and being Catholic and playing for Rangers doesn't bother them one bit, all of them have Catholic pals. I don't remember a mass walk-out when we had a Catholic captain and Manager? The OO as far as I know doesn't have a problem with Catholic people its the Catholic Church of Rome it parades against again I may be wrong but I've grew up all my days surrounded by the OO and that's the feeling I've always had. I wouldn't say telling people that the Catholic Church are a dangerous organisation which does more harm than good is very far-fetched it seems to have been proved right these days. And get over to the Lounge it's your go in the other cracking debate. -

So now it's the songs we can't sing because it means different things to everybody, where do you stop will we only be happy when we have a Stepford support standing like zombies singing from a songbook which has been cleansed till it wouldn't offend anybody in the world. When that day comes we might as well all go home and turn out the lights and by the looks of it that day is coming rather quickly. -

We have fans who haven't a clue what a Orangeman looks like, they will buy the top because it has a Rangers badge on it. Other people will buy it for different reasons. Nobody is being told they have to believe in anything. A section of our support have asked for something they may get it they may not, I'm sure other sections will ask for what they want should they be told you've no chance because that other section will spit the dummy oot. At this moment I've never felt more disillusioned at being a Scot and have never felt more British. Do I think we should chuck all things Scottish out the door, of course not we are a proud Scottish club and always will be. The point I'm trying to make and failing miserably again is we are a big family and like all big families there are parts we can't be doing with and maybe even hate, but a family we still are and remember like them or hate them the OO are a legal body doing there thing and there easy enough to avoid and not talk about if you really want to. -

Yes let's alienate a section of your own support just because you don't agree with there beliefs. I can't remember ever seeing a Flute band at Ibrox. The club has no links to the OO so don't see what we have to break away from. Why not tell everyone who supports the SNP their not welcome back because they are actively trying to break the Union, we have a huge fan base with many beliefs we all have to get on and remember in the end we are all Rangers fans. -
Rangers invite Linfield (and others) for a friendly
GovanAllan replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Nice gesture from Rangers to invite them over, but if they really want to fill Ibrox they have to make it a Saturday. -
Lifetime ban for John Brown from Ibrox please
GovanAllan replied to simplythebest's topic in Rangers Chat
Funny how we are getting a run of positive news and on the up, so they throw in a grenade and step back to watch us all arguing amongst ourselves again. There's no doubt in my mind this is a timmy fabricated story using their drunken useful pawn Jakey Broon. -

That's a poor comparison and you know it. -
Lifetime ban for John Brown from Ibrox please

Can't believe he's done that, what a twat. Just crawl away into a bottle John and stay there. "We deserved to be punished EBT's are illegal" "Whyte and Ticketus still own Ibrox" "Rhegan and Doncaster tried everything to save Rangers" The ramblings of your average Jakey Tim, pity it's from a so called Rangers Legend. -

Agree on the socks, I know this year is a tip of the cap to 72 but the socks should always be black & red. Why not a rotational yearly thing with the Third Top one year Orange next Black&Red and then White Blue Star, although I would love your Away top to be White Blue Star with blue&white hooped socks and a mainly Red Third top. On Sam Adams it got recommended to me by a mate, and once you get past that it isn't actually what we would call a Lager it's bloody brilliant. -

That what's its all about Max debate and you will never get chased on here for having an opinion, btw mines was Samuel Adams Boston Lager and just about to start again when the golf comes on. If you have another idea to promote Rangers let us know and more importantly let CG know I'm sure his E-mail address is around here somewhere. As you and I agree we are a broad church so plenty of room for everybodies ideas. -
My late great Mother-in-Law used to date Davie Wilson as a youngster, as my Father-in-Law says he could dance on the pitch Allan but I could dance where it counted.

Was just going to say the same DB of all the clubs in Scotland we are the last that needs a windfall. -
You've got to remember 54 that bigotry in their eyes is a one way street full of Protestants, you can't be Catholic and a bigot because it doesn't exist in their eyes. Shower of deluded twats.

Yip once you've had your chance you should go to the back of the Q and wait for your turn again.

Hate the prick but that's actually sensible words from the big man.

Don't know if you go to Ibrox Max but if I look around where I sit its like the bloody UN, and I think you'll find thats because unlike the Mhob across town we ARE an all inclusive club who welcome everbody even tho we are portrayed as just Protestant bigots. So OO baggage or not we are getting a broad fan base to come and support Rangers. And never mind the amount of kids now I feel like I'm still at work when I go to Ibrox these days. All my kids go to Ibrox they also love a parade, do they know what it means? No they can learn that for themselves when their older if they want, they just love the bands and the colours and the whole spectacle of it and have a great day out. I think you've been buying into the media propaganda that all people who attend a walk are knuckle-dragging bigots and should be looked down on as if they have a pair of horns sticking out their head. -
Is that for Coco the Clown to wear.
-
Stars at the back of the neck and Tennets in the same colour as the top (if the Mhanks can get away with it so can we) other than that its a winner for me.
-
Think you'll find its back passage, but its an easy mistake to make.

But that's not Orange it's Ginger or so the papers said when Little got his boots this week, so going by that train of thought yes let's have a ginger top after all its the national hair colour. And for the rest of this thread I'm sick to the back teeth trying not to offend every Tom, Dick and Harry in this f%*ked up country so they can all kiss my hairy arse. -
Their all to scared of the Catholic backlash if they are seen to be helping, a sad state for any country to find itself in.
