I thought they'd get more from him actually. Great potential, Real and Chelsea have been linked with him in the past.

I'd be surprised if i see Ribery starting on the bench, he's great. Only seen him once of twice though. Plus, isnt he a winger? ZZ plays through the middle.

When i watched the video clip of it you couldnt tell at first which leg it was cause of the camera angle, by the way his other leg was when he hit the ground he could have easily broken that one too. Poor guy.

He was mentioned a while back but i think it was a loan deal. Apparently he's a great player though and tipped for big things.... so probably wont be looking to come to the SPL.

Aye i walked past Maclaren at Ibrox a while back and he was pretty chunkified. Nice guy though, gave us a 'how do?'.

Anelka was so pissed that he didnt make the original squad that he said he'd refuse to be called up as a replacement. But we all know Anelka, he'll probably go.

But if Roeder has been managing for 10 years, shouldnt he have all the badges needed by now. At least 'Boro seem to be after Southgate's badge right away. Still think its a crazy appointment though, they'll do well not to struggle.

Roeder is taking the necessary steps to get all his badges during the course of this season, i would imagine 'Boro are going to argue the same thing with Southgate. Pretty long contract for a guy who has never managed before, showing alot of faith in him.

I like the retro look of the Holland ones (the big badges), its between them and the French one. Probably got the the Holland away too.

I disagree about his distribution, when matched with Klos at least. Klos can hardly kick the ball past the halfway line. But Waterreus really didnt know how to organize the defence, that is true, they seemed to be doing the exact opposite of what they were supposed to do half the time.

Coupet is the same age (or there abouts) as Letizi, im hoping Gav's right with the stop gap comment.

I was indifferent to if he stayed or not anyway, good servant to the club while he was here but 25% wage increase demands at his age is kind of pushing it.
