People got on Hemdani's back alot last season but for my money when he did play he was one of the better players. Not the quickest and obviously not match fit sometimes but he completed a hell of alot more passes in the midfield than Barry did when they played together.

Agreed, he might be a bit of a whinger and isnt the finished article, but any team in the world would snap him up in an instant for the right money.

I dont want him to go, when he first broke into the team coming on as sub he was a very skillful young player with alot of potential. Eck then started shifting him all over the midfield and he didnt perform as good after that. I want to see how he performs under PLG, who i think will have a better clue than Eck ever did on where to play him to reach his potential.

Im not going to worry about the signings PLG makes until i see them in action and know they are or are not working. The players at Lyon werent exactly household names until he came about. That Italian boy looks like he's about 12, lol.

He's a great player, i remember him playing against tic when he was at Lyon. Would be a good signing IMO.

John Brown, legend for Rangers, no-nonsense defender. All the best Bomber, think he's done a decent job for the youth team.

Im not getting my hopes up yet, has the potential to be a great game, but might be disappointed. Going by Spain at the moment, they should take this one easily, hope France are more up for it in this game, they've been rank so far.

Yeah i read that too about the charity work, i never realised it either. Good on him for that. Lets hope his services to the club improve in the new season compared to the, IMO, pretty awful season he had last year.

I think 3 players were actually sent off in the end, not sure though. God only know's how many yellows were had, i got confused in the end.

Absolutely, i mean i know the players had similar names but thats why you write down there name and shirt number when you book them. Amateur stuff from the man.

From what i saw of the game, Robinho was the difference up front. Ronaldo and Adriano did not work well together but Robinho is a zippy wee player who gets moving. Some cracking goals in this game, although you gotta feel sorry for the Japanese keeper after the first half he had.

Quite happy that Australia got through, bit sorry for Dado but at least he's coming back injury free. I couldnt believe the end of the game, Poll's name just dropped rapidly down the pecking order in names for the final.

Watched the Croatia Australia game, thought it would be better than the other one since Japan were pretty much out of it from the begining on GD. Pretty good game, scrappy as hell towards the end though, and the commentators were begining to bug me.... not for the first time in this WC either.
