I honestly feel if Coral win this the Celtic fans will hold it up to say they were right along. "we're a different club"
Never mind what everyone else says.
It's the bookies that are right!
I'm in Berlin just now, Leipzig is only an hour or so away from here. So tempted to go on Sunday. The good lady would do me in though she's already let me go to Milan in March to see Inter. So will sadly have to give it a miss .
I'd argue but for his issues mid career Caniggia would be remembered much more fondly. But you could apply that to so many players so I totally get where you're coming from.
Hagi and Prosinecki were both untouchable if they could be arsed.
Dragan Stojkovic always blew me away what a player. The issues in Yugoslavia ruined it for him though.
He's done nothing to justify that fee.
But the EPL is the place where less than ordinary players become transfer record breakers. All the teams down there have more money than sense.
In my time of watching Rangers players I'd say were world class either when they were with us or after
In no order:
Brian Laudrup
Paul Gascoigne
Alexei Mikhailichenko
Rino Gattuso (after he left us)
Lots more perhaps verge Caniggia was a special player and had his issues earlier in his career I felt lucky to see him play for us, Kanchelskis too though he never hit the heights with us he did earlier in his career.
I reckon 6k is probably about average what we pay our first team. Perhaps even nearing top end bar about 4 or 5 off the top of my head. Wallace, Miller, Kranjcar and I'm struggling now. Maybe Tavernier after new contract.
I don't doubt Red Bull would have the financial clout to invest in Rangers and get us to overhaul Celtic. But I don't see what would be in it for them.
