I've been thinking (so watch out): Rangers assets are worth around £115m (according to D&P) These are transferred to newco by Bill Miller who pays £11.2m into oldco, for the assets. That's a good deal by anyones standards surely? So anyone wondering what he gets out of it....

Just because they run the topside of the club, doesn't mean they make every single decision - especially when there are no financial implications. I don't see D&P as devils, so no I'm not bothered if they DID make the decision.

Good grief. They are trying to think of - cheap- ways to thank the fans! We don't have oodles of cash to do nice big grand gestures.

Clearly the club know how difficult this is for the fans, they are desperately trying to a)keep the fans on board, b) keep the players/management going and c) keep the club going. Any & all gesture at the moment is appreciated from me.

I'm quite happy to publicly back Miller. We NEED this sorted, we also can't tar everyone with the CW brush. I find it ridiculous the reactions of some.

By allowing Rangers to play St Johnstone though, they've allowed the NewCo so cannot implement further penalites on us.

So the crux is the assets go to Millers newco after SPL/SFA shut down on Friday 11th. Rangers turn up to play on 03th, SFA/SPL *could* shut the game down, but would they really? If the game goes ahead, they have effectively allowed the newco to enter the spl so transfer embargo can't apply. Players are safe under TUPE, Whyte cannot block sale & neither can creditors. IF SPL decided to null & void all our points (saying we didn't finish season) we still can't be relegated as in top six. Or something. It actually was fairly reasonable to read. Would be a master stroke if they pulled it off though
