  1. But guys, Celtic supporters are the best in the world, they don't partake in bigotry, sectarianism or supporting terrorist groups remember? We're the naughty ones. Always.
  2. I went with McGregor, obvious choice maybe but he has become an outstanding keeper. Bar 1 or 2 clangers he pulls off some fantastic stops and how often is he the reason we are still in a game. He's grown up a lot recently and it really shows in his game.
  3. How have we paid ticketus 8 mil already? Also, d&p advised on tax then shuts ignored and employed someone else is my understanding, then never paid
  4. Pre Administration Wages/Salaries 479,513 Post Administration Wages/Salaries 1,208,986
  5. I think I'm totally dumb. Andrew Ellis is a director? Appointed 20th Jan 2012. How did I miss that?
  6. Ok so the £55mil without the two cases includes £26 mil to ticketus & £7.7 mil in debentures. To get the debentures back, people need to apply individually, they've also probably got NO CHANCE under a CVA of getting money so whilst the £7.7mil has to be included as a debt, I don't think it is one. We've settled the 'Wee tax case' (£4mil) as we can't win it apparently. That becomes part of a debt when official. The Big Tax case is around £75mil if we lose. So Ticketus, I don't get it. They've put in £26.7 mil. Yet at the start they say we've paid them £8mil already. On an initial £20mil. What fucking interest rate are we talking here? None of the (ex) Directors have completed the Statement of Affairs - interesting.
  7. Fuck me.......:
  8. this is interesting: On 23 March 2012 the Court of Session issued its directions. It held that Ticketus held no property rights in the seats nor in the proceeds of their sale. Their rights were of a personal, contractual nature only. As a result, if the Joint Administrators, when pursuing the objectives of the Administration of the Club, consider it to be in the interests of the Company‟s creditors as a whole, they can decline to perform the contractual obligations of the Company. If this proves to be the case, which will depend upon the outcome of the current sale negotiations, it may leave Ticketus with a claim for damages against the Club for breach of contract but that claim would rank as an ordinary unsecured claim in the Administration.
  9. Chris Mclaughlin must have skipped through the report looking for the cash bit, I'm not even halfway through the report yet!
  10. Although: Grant Russell ‏ @STVGrant Reply Retweet Favorite · Open Hold fire on that "football creditors" figure of Rangers'. The amount listed compared to the figures on creditor list are poles apart.
  11. £1mil is kinda less than I thought (obv potentially we have HMRC big case & we have the 'wee case') but still.
  12. As I'm a well known 'hun' at work (not my words, actual quote) if I even attempt discussion about religion I get accused of bigotry. Talk about a generalisation. I'm a Rangers fan and not a Protestant ffs. We don't all fit in boxes which is why religion should GTO of football.
  13. Our school catchment area has TWO primary schools, one is Catholic and if my son was placed there (he's not, he's registered at a non-dom) I would object on Religious grounds. I would do the same with ANY religious school. I'm happy for my son to learn about different religions, I'm not happy for him to be told This Is How It Is. And this is Glasgow, do not tell me that Catholic schools in Glasgow, do not contribute to the divide.
  14. two things. 1) This: is like saying, I'm not racist BUT 2)Downie is right. Separate demoniational schools DO cause issues. They do.
  15. They are apparently, but player agents had a hand in these so I would assume there would be something about potential new owners in there too.
  16. Yes and unfortunately ends up sounding like some of the more deranged on the dark side It's a shame cause he seems reasonably well placed to make these statements but descends into conspiracy theory type lands and sometimes without proof. He's entirely right about the O'Rourke thing, it's a fucking disgrace that this guy is not being hounded by media (and Liewell too about his connections). Celtic should have to come out and say 'he does NOT represent us, our views, we condemn it etc etc'. But it's been hushed up. So I do understand his emotional response, I do. But to have impact and be taken seriously, unfortunately he needs to tone it down, give facts, give examples.
  17. Absolutely stunning effort
  18. I'm flabbergasted that this is allowed as part of a fit & proper test. I thought we'd moved on as a society. Can they honestly reject someone on the basis of past mental health grounds? Seriously boggled here.
  19. You know, he does make some intriguing points, but the language is so emotive/hyperbolic it doesn't get taken seriously at all
  20. That's harsh, it's not gutless. There is a fine line between defending someone and getting all rage and kicking the shit out of someone. I haven't seen the video, I couldn't give two fucks about Goodwillie - I've only ever heard wankerish things about him. I agree the original assault is fucking horrific. The sentence is worse & laughable. *Awaits all the 'but your a girl' shite*
  21. I wouldn't actually blame them. However, lets remember Aluko (if reports are correct) PAID to join Rangers. He helped fund his dream move. Now he's on a paycut. A new owner will want to renegotiate contracts most likely. I'd hate to see him go, I would. However, I'd hold no ill feeling towards him if he did.
  22. The way it has been done, is to show the SFA riding to the rescue because the nasty Rangers are being mean. Outside of the primary school...
  23. I don't see how a dignified silence stoops to their level? Their level is more shouty/ranty.
  24. No, the 'class' thing to do would be to leave quietly or just applaud our own players after the game. We owe them nothing, not a thing. Their behaviour and attitude to us (along with their little cabal) this season and in others has been not short of disgraceful. They do not deserve our respect or our applause. Silence can be deafening y'know. No comments on them, no songs about/against them. No wasted breath on them.
