the reason for posting this is, since the appeal is rejected and the card stands, that surely adds to the case against Lemon?

Administrators are taking too long says Brian Kennedy

Planning issues as in no cash? LOL -
Actually it was one of the biggest concerns. People didn't want to donate to pay the admins, so I feel justified by saying that.Sorry if you assume I was talking for you. The admins didn't lay many/any staff off so we can only assume we are currently meeting running costs for the club. We are not allowed to add more debt when in administration. It's all very well to be unconcerned with any other club but that's a narrow view in my opinion. We are not the only club in Scottish football, we are not the only club in trouble. We need some good PR and this is good imo. We can't assume there was no other assessment made. We can't assume agreements haven't been made with other creditors. We don't know. We can only assume there is a good reason behind this. I just don't want to become negative about anything and everything about the club regardless. If you want clarification then write to the RFFF, I'm sure they will respond.
-
I can't see it happening. I don't see the issue with paying Dunfermline and splitting hairs around creditor status. Paying Dunfermline from the RFFF frees up funds. We are due a hearing if we don't pay Dundee United so maybe the Admins will use some of the money from not paying Dunfermline to make an arrangement with Dundee Utd. Thereby the fans haven't paid a debt to someone we don't want to. I genuinely have no issue with Dunfermline being paid, I think this is splitting hairs tbh. The fund was set up for the benefit of the club, paying Dunfermline the money comes under that in my opinion. Not everything has to be a negative or the admins 'at it'.

He is like the Religious nuts who claim the world will end but if you drink their special drink you'll be in Rapture or whatever. He's 100% convinced he is the good guy and the Saviour of Rangers Football Club.

I think Bears has a few things to say about Tomo and his journalism tbh.
-
But this isn't a pension scheme. this is our club. Do we just sit on it and allow the club to face more fines etc. Do we allow another club to go into admin on the back of us? The single biggest concern everyone had was the Administrators were not paid or legal fees, from the fund. Aside from that, it wouldn't bother me (donating tomorrow )

I think that is what he is banking on. I wonder if the BK's have said they will pay him nothing. Whyte still seems to claim he put money in the club (wtf?) so should get something back from it.
-
The issue is Whyte owns 85% shares. The independent did a big piece on Rangers - completely unbiased, very good reporting - and they stated the big sticking point is that he is majority shareholder. He still has to agree to sell the club, unless we can oust him somehow.
-
They've come out and stated he is not involved. I know I'm in the minority but I do understand why he did sue.
-
Lets be honest they will not suspend our membership. I believe they would try to exclude from the cup though
-
I saw it more as an important gesture. Dunfermline have been alright with us - I'm not interested in a 2006 fine they received tbh - DU have not. I agree with the RFFF using the money to Dunfermline and they're statement is well worded. OK, it may be seen as petty to not pay DU BUT surely it also serves as a warning for anyone else wanting to kick us whilst we are down. The RFFF money is not official club money so can't be touched by DU etc. They can join the creditor queue and get x pence in the pound back for all I care. I do think we should pay our debts, but if we could pay everything we wouldn't be in administration!

Who won or lost will have an impact on the split of DV committed by each side but sadly BOTH sets of fans will do this. Someone who will commit DV will do it regardless of which team they support, the Old Firm though and the atmosphere, the highs/lows and the DRINK has a huge impact and it's a huge issue. It would be silly to suggest this is only Celtic fans. It would also be completely wrong to suggest the majority of Old Firm have any truck with DV, I certainly do not think that way (as a female who has been in a toxic relationship before). The majority are good, but that does not diminish the fact that Old Firm days are a huge catalyst. A catalyst, not a cause. Like I said, someone who does this will do it on other days too.

We're all missing the major point here. Things were not going Celtic's way. What better way to garner attention for the Septic cause and less press about how Rangers played, that Septic bottled it (again) than to make a suggestion that his life is danger because all 40,000+ fans mean Lennon 'real' harm. How to tar an entire fan base easily and deflect attention from the poor performance of the players and the disgraceful behaviour of the manager.

I haven't donated yet. The reason? This started halfway through the month! I get paid on Friday and will donate then. I can't imagine I am the only one. This is a 5 week month and that stretches things plus we've had unexpected bills through the car etc. Also, people agreed the millions for something in return - shares. I never expected the Fighting Fund to reach those heights.

So, a Timothy at work this morning said to me, 'more proof of cheating orange refs'. Which made me huh? apparently lemon has the 'head of police' as a witness. Tbh there is so much wrong with that statement it's probably bollocks but I've yet to find out the source.

Ahahahahahahahaha that's amazing!

it's not fitness, it's concentration. I don't think we always need over analyse every little thing. Yes we could be frustrated at the goals, like I said the penalty was needless and stupid. When you think of the importance of the day (and it WAS, no player wants their bitter rivals to win the league on their turf) I can forgive them. I don't blame Ally's tactics. The penalty was the result of a silly tackle, and resulted in a man sent off. That spun the players a bit and Celtic scored. I don't think we can blame Ally for every on field issue. Discipline & concentration lack in the last few mins, but overall I still say his tactics were right.
-
Because we took our eye off the ball. We got a bit overexcited, there was a lot going on. Also, we went to 10 men because one of the goals was a - needless - penalty. That gave them the impetus they needed and they scored again whilst we are reforming ourselves as a 10-man team rather than a 11-man team. if anything, the scoreline flatters them. Nothing more. I'm not going to lose sleep about it tbh. Before the game I'd have taken a 3-2 win any day of the week.
-
I agree, we were outplaying them and one nil up when the first man was sent off. I was impressed with the initial formation too, with two up front and two wing backs. I thought Ally's tactics were pretty spot on.
