DK: Very surprised if Whyte still involved. Less so Green. DK: No individual should be in control of Rangers. Fans need to be long term significant investors. DK happy to contribute 50%. DK: Investment needed not only on football side but maintenance, infrastructure. DK: Most important stakeholder in the club, the fans, have smallest voice. That is wrong.

RANGERS fans’ favourite Nacho Novo has been banned from training at Murray Park. Record Sport understands the former Ibrox striker fears he has been blackballed from the Auchenhowie HQ because of his public support for a fans’ group which wants to topple the current regime. Novo has been using the facilities and training with the first-team squad since returning to Scotland in December, from MLS club Carolina RailHawks. But the Spaniard - who played and scored at a packed Ibrox in a fund raiser for Fernado Ricksen on Sunday - was informed today by caretaker manager Kenny McDowall that he is now considered persona non grata. It’s believed McDowall was acting on a edict from chief executive Derek Llambias and he fears it’s a retaliatory move for his decision to sign up with Rangers First, a supporters group in favour of fan ownership.
