RANGERS Football Club has launched the world’s first hologram sports app – Virtual Rangers – featuring ground-breaking technology that takes supporters closer than ever to their Light Blue heroes and Ibrox legends. Virtual Rangers – which is free to download soon on iTunes – lets fans have their pictures taken with hologram images of first-team stars and heroes from the past whatever their location.* At work, at home, on a five a side pitch and literally anywhere else in the world, the new app can be used to take pictures with the players at any venue and supporters can also watch the players perform tricks and enjoy a host of exclusive interviews conducted by Rangers legend Andy Goram. Developed by Appear To Me and featuring UltraReality hologram technology, the ground-breaking app features an exclusive message from Manager Ally McCoist and video action of a host of top-team stars including club captain Lee McCulloch, David Templeton, Lewis Macleod, Robbie Crawford and Fraser Aird. The legends section features exclusive ‘Goalie Interviews’ conducted by fans’ favourite Goram and hologram images of former Ibrox stars Jorg Albertz, Richard Gough, Lorenzo Amoruso, Michael Mols and Bert Konterman. Virtual Rangers also features live breaking news updates, league tables, fixtures, results, squad info, match reports, Audioboos plus the ability to share photos on Facebook and Twitter and is the perfect companion for all Rangers fans. The app is available to download free on iTunes soon and features an McCoist message and sample content from a hologram of McCulloch. Further content can be accessed for just £2.99 and an Android version of the app will also be available in the near future with more players to be added to the database throughout the campaign.   14. RANGERS fans have once again shown they will stand up to be counted in their thousands. Season Ticket sales have broken through 31,000 as Tuesday marks the opening of the public sale after a period of renewals for existing ticket holders. Supporters can now purchase from the Ibrox Ticket Centre, where queues formed this morning, as well as by phoning or ordering online. Prices in the family section Adults are £258 for adults and just £65 for kids. Prices for other parts of Ibrox Stadium start at £281 for adults, £190 for concessions and £68 for kids.

The new home kit (see more here) – blue top featuring a red and white Puma King stripe graphic on the neck and two red contrast stripes on the body, white shorts with blue detail and a return to the traditional black and red socks - will be available to buy ahead of the Club’s opening Division 2 game of the season on Thursday 8 August. The away kit (see more here) –white with navy marl top with gold embroidery, navy shorts with gold crests and white socks with navy detail – will be available to buy on Thursday 5 September. The third kit (see more here) – black top with red flashes, black shorts with red piping and socks with red flashes - will be available to buy from Thursday 25 July. The goalkeeper’s kit and change kits – which are yellow and red with marl details – will also be available to buy at a later date.
