  1. Sorry but changing the manager (for the right choice) will hugely change the situation ON the park. That's what I'm talking about. There are two 'situations' - one off the park, and one on the park. McCoist is culpable for the utter dross on the park!
  2. He is not doing us any favours at all by promoting the survival of McCoist the manager. "Ally has given fans so many happy memories.......and in the recent times where he has given them back-to-back promotions. But I honestly couldn't care what the fans are thinking about performances. People need to wise up. Changing the manager is not going to change the situation." Shut up John. Please just shut the fuck up. Just this once!
  3. And right on cue - the bold Bomber pipes up today about 'Super'. FFS!! So predictable.
  4. Sorry pal, but not "all true". You've made the Steve Clarke bit up at least. As others have said, he is a 'Selik' fan and has never once stated a desire to manage Rangers. Him and Alan Brazil had a wee conversation not all that long ago about their "love for ra Selik".

    Who then?

Numan would not be an expensive option. He wont be earning a lot in charge of the Dutch B team and in his scouting roles. He would love to come back to Scotland and Rangers from what I've been told by someone who knows him pretty well.
  6. You didn't finish the sentence GS. So was it....... (1) as far away from the application list as possible? (2) to bite his tongue for a wee while (please don't come out in Mondays papers in support in full support of your pal)? (3) to persuade his mate Ally to get this agony over, and walk now!?
  7. I'm a wee bit slow on the uptake mate :-)
  8. Had heard that, but mostly it's the Dhims that spread that nonsense, so wasn't sure. He never said anything about it. If that's the case why the passion for the Gers now? That's what I don't get.
  9. I remember taking my boy in 1997 against Dundee Utd when we won 5-1 and Negri scored all 5. Great finisher. The only disappointment for me and the rest of the bears was that he never really celebrated any goals with us for some reason, although he did with his Italian side before he came here. I would love to know why. Still enjoyed having him here though. Top striker.
  10. The last time I saw him he was looking very slim and had been off the booze for a considerable time. Still think he is talking shite on this ocassion though.
  11. A guy called Broxi Bear tweeted him back with "Remember he done walking away with your missus at the World Cup. WATP"
  12. Whatever happens tonight I hope we don't have an outpouring of <sympathetic> support for him, as it will just come across the wrong way.
  13. The case made by the main negative protagonist in this thread is as weak as you would expect from one of the new fangled 'factionists' within our support. It's back in trend again Best ignored as you say. It always reminds me of: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gb_qHP7VaZE
  14. Addressed by anyone who has a serious desire to see the figures increased. Take your pick.
  15. I still believe we shouldn't 'dress up' our crowd figures no matter what goes on elsewhere. If figures are down there is a reason for it that needs addressed.
  16. When they do it over at Breezeblock Boulevard it's so obviously a lie that I find it funny. Many of their own supporters cringe. I cringed on Saturday for us when I heard the 28,000 being announced - it looked closer to 14,000 - utterly embarrassing! I'm glad this came out. I know what you mean though about it not being reported over at the San Giro. Maybe this will 'shame' them into coming clean, but then again they don't do 'shame' do they.

    Who then?

Don't mean to be a bore guys but can we keep at least one thread on a football track without all the corporate stuff?

    Who then?

Although I cant see someone like De Boer taking the crap from this board.

    Who then?

Successful at what level though? Given (2) above I would say Arthur Numan's 'success' and style of play as Holland B\Under 20 level manager may be worth a punt.

    Who then?

His teams aren't renowned for easy on the eye football are they (I could be wrong)? Also he was starting to show some troublesome signs http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/mar/24/billy-davies-nippy-sweetie-nottingham-forest - would he work under the current lot. If he got a bit tetchy in the English Midlands I worry about him being back in Glasgow. I don't imagine he would be all that cheap. In saying all that I wouldn't complain at the appointment.
