    Who then?

Only (I say only!) from the point of view of getting rid of the current lot, but getting Numan in (and possibly Laudrup) would not be beyond the realms of possibility, given that they would love a role at the Club, and their salaries would be FAR less than what we are paying at the moment.

    Who then?

That would be my ultimate dream team! Ironically neither of them would be very expensive I bet. Numan wont be on a huge salary, and Laudrup wouldn't demand one either given that he would be 'cutting his teeth' in management. Now that would get the punters excited again!!! Big Albertz is running a very successful football academy in his home town Monchengladbach, so we could maybe tap into that as well
  3. I clicked on the 'Agree' button Rab and a nosebleed started
  4. Can't work out whether you are still having personal digs or whether you are agreeing with what Peter Robinson said. I will go for the latter, so yes they have done that for decades now while we have slept.
  5. Because it backs up post #2 i.e 'ill-thought out, and too easily made to look like tit for tat. The call on RC tonight was so easily twisted to make us look petty - as always. Even although the guy was much more articulate than I could ever be.
  6. "I can't make up my mind if you are being petty or attention-seeking.". I've genuinely no idea WTF thats about. I want attention from sad arses like me who have nothing better to do at this time of night? Petty? Go on, give me a laugh - elaborate.

    Who then?

I believe he already has a scouting network that feeds into him from his time at Alkmaar Zaanstreek and Aston Villa. Maybe one of our Dutch based guys can elaborate?

    Who then?

Thanks Zappa. I posted this on here a while back - I was in the football memorabilia shop up the top of the High Street in Glasgow. I got speaking to the guy running it about the framed Gers stuff he had. He said "Arthur gave me most of them before he went back to Holland. It broke his heart going back as he felt that this was now his home and he loves the Gers so much. He would have taken anything at Rangers."
  9. I was in the car tonight and stupidly had Radio Clyde on with the usual band of Dhims on. I was just about to turn to another station when a very articulate Mark from Bellshill (Rangers Man) came on. His main point, which he put across very calmly and succinctly, was the very point of them not dealing with the section of their fans that do this type of thing e.g. mock the Ibrox disaster and ruin Remembrance Day silences. Do you know what he was met with before he had even finished? He was shouted down by 'host Gerry' and McAvennie, - "How do you know they are not dealing with it" both shout. McAvennie then says "your Club have enough problems to deal with in more than one lifetime, and you want to come on here with your tit-for tat silliness". The host then asks"what do you actually want?" Mark states "I want their Club to condemn them openly in public". The 'panel then ask "Where would that get you? Celtic fans will only come on and want Rangers to condemn their fans for X,Y,Z" I'm getting bored even typing this, such is the predictability of it all. Peter Robinson, the Ulster MP, told a friend of mine many years ago - "we've lost the propaganda war big style, and we may never recover". How true. Our attempts are pretty pathetic.
  10. That gut wrenching misty dark January night still stirs the same memories for me every time I think of it. My dad managed to get out of stairway 13 although it was hours before I found out he did (no mobile phones in those days) .God knows what it is like for the families who weren't so fortunate. The sick bastards who find twisted humour in it have always been there, and they will NEVER stop. For me personally I would rather their antics weren't given air time as I'm not sure what it will achieve in the bigger picture, other than ignite the pain again of that memory for those families. I'd be interested to know whether the families want this type of thing chased up or whether they would rather be left to deal with their loss as they have done all these years (I could be entirely wrong).
  11. I think you will find from RAB's previous posts that he has most certainly not been desperate for DK to be genuine. He told us often that DK was a liar and that he did not have the funds. DK has been a let down, but certainly not because he doesn't have the funds. Why he chose to take the route he has taken, who knows. But please don't tell me Mr RAB has been balanced in his DK writings. Mind numbing is the phrase that springs to mind.
  12. But we both know deep down it wont get the public outcry.
  13. They are scum. I don't see how an open statement like this will help anything. It's the type of publicity that kind of low life shite thrive on.
  14. Why would we get involved in this? We know what they are like. Fuck them. We are starting to sound like them when we start this guff. Lets be above this for fuck sake!!!!
  15. Why would you be of that opinion, given that you constantly tell the world King is a liar and does not have wealth on the scale that would be required?

    Who then?

Arthur Numan has told many people he would walk on glass to be back at the Club. After his very successful stint with the Dutch under 20, Dutch B squad and his various scouting roles etc with Aston Villa he would be well worth a role of some kind.
  17. DK.....,,,,,DK no money.............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ..................DK.........DK.................Liar...............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
  18. The players didn't haif put on a performance to let the manager know that they want him to stay
  19. I don't think there was any ambiguity in your post - so yes - I seriously did! venting spleen? Don't be such a drama queen. It was a valid response.
  20. You seriously would want McCoist to be given more money? You seriously think he could turn it around? You seriously don't remember how bad he was when he had good players at his disposal? You seriously don't think the players he has should be capable of wiping the floor with the likes of Alloa? You seriously think our style of football has nothing to do with this? You seriously think McCoist, Durrant and McDowall, deserve the HUGE salaries they are draining out of our already skint Club? You seriously don't think a more progressive manager would give the place a huge lift (and someone the players would be shit scared to go back to had they lost a 2 goal lead within 18 min)? You serious?
  21. Mine arrived. Years since I've worn a football top, being an old codger. But cant wait for 5 a sides cos the top is an absolute peach.
  22. Sorry mate, but I know the man fairly well and the mates he grew up with, and who he hangs with just now, including John Brown, with whom he has joint interests with in the East Kilbride area. Money plays a HUGE part in our manager's life. He will never walk without a massive pay off - 100%! How we laughed when he said during Admin that he didn't know what he was being paid. No manager ever took the fans for idiots more than Ally with that comment.
  23. RAB, you should see a doctor about your Dave King fetish.
