  1. Logic has been lacking surrounding Rangers the last few years
  2. How about a gesture of thanks towards the thousands who have stood by the team and club through a horrible season? That's not been easy, and it deserves acknowledgement regardless of whether you believe boycotting was the way to go or not. This isn't a jealousy point because I'd say no to a directors box seat if I ever somehow got offered, very happy in my Copland Front seat of 11 years. But I don't feel it's particularly respectful to 23000 plus people.
  3. The boycott will have been made so much more effective by the football, and many of those returning due to the euphoria of the regime change will drift away again. The atmosphere wasn't even improved.
  4. I might have my Rangers back when the conmen on the park are gone
  5. I like how it becomes an attack on my character again yet Chris' seems to be unquestionable
  6. That remains to be seen. The new regime can't forever live off not being Ashley and co, they need to build up their own merit.
  7. It's a general point, I tried to contact board members like Wallace and Easdale the last few years as well with issues but to no avail
  8. That could prove to be more of a problem for Chris than me mate. But no, I meant that if as King says the club will be more open to fans now then it should be easier to go to the club directly if you have a problem.
  9. People are entitled to an opinion, but message boards probably aren't the most useful place to express those views.
  10. In response to Rangers' announcement, Easdale's spokesman Jack Irvine issued a statement through Press Association Sport which read: "We are surprised at the announcement as you cannot suspend a director under the law of Scotland. "We also note that they talk about an investigation. Sandy Easdale welcomes that as he has absolutely nothing to fear."
  11. CEO does that don't they? And he'll have dealt with the technicalities
  12. If it's true about his wife getting punted then they were hardly doing him any special favours either. I'm uncomfortable with us having too much involvement from David Murray's latter era but again I'll assume he didn't have much involvement in that side of things, and if he's good at his job then we may as well keep him
  13. The idea of someone getting our costs down and not letting sentiment get in the way is appealing, but Llambias treated the support with contempt and didn't seem to care about wasting money other ways. He wasn't the man for it at all
  14. He might sit in the directors box but he's not a director and never has been I don't think, so he'll hardly have had any influence on everything that's gone on
  15. To think some thought a change of board would give our football side a lift. Our coaches and players are still the same clowns they were a week ago.
  16. Llambias' pathetic attempts to win over the fans made him untenable regardless of whatever talents he may hold
  17. Only for him to fuck up the play-offs?
  18. Kenny McDowall should fall under a similar category albeit for different reasons obviously. If they don't want to make their long term managerial appointment for a while then fine but they absolutely must remove McDowall right away and bring in an interim for us to have any chance of salvaging this season.
  19. I'd say it's simply people having the instinct of being cautious and sceptical after the last few years, definitely not unreasonable.
