Did cross my mind in the beginning too but I think that was hopeless optimism. When I read what they had said I felt betrayed and saddened that they were letting the club and supporters down. Now I have had time to think aout it, they are the same as many, many fans and many on these forums who have fallen for myths being perpetrated by the press and the representatives of other clubs and, as far as I am aware have not been counteracted by anyone at the club, that we have been declared guilty for the EBT's and cheating. It reminds me of the public's perception when the war in Iraq happened and people were justifying it because of the twin towers and Osama Bin Laden. This makes our crimes appear to justify sterner punishment. I agree the liquidation changes the severity of the situation and it would be unfair to remain in the SPL but to constantly question our integrity is grossly unfair. I still think the players jumped ship too soon and they have let us down. Hope that doesn't sound too contradictory.

I wish everyone would stop using the phrase "sporting integrity". Iam getting really sick of hearing it. It is becoming really hackneyed. I wish this was all over.

Summary, Rangers have to go somewhere, we need them back in the SPL next year, if you don't vote for it we will make a new league to put them in. Translated as, we've underestimated the amount of hatred in this country, we've been too heavy handed and we cannae dae without their money. Suits me.

This would obviously need to be clarified but I expect it means to drop the legal challenge and the transfer embargo will disappear. It would be preposterous under the circumstances and events have overtaken it.

Renting the assets to Rangers would never, ever be acceptable. No theft of assets.

I genuinely don't know what to think about all of this but one thing I do know is that I would trust these guys motives. Some people might say, as they do of all of those coming late to the table, where were you when......? I don't think any of us can believe what has happened since Feb and if they'd had a crystal ball I believe they would've acted sooner. I also believe they were happy for someone else to do the dirty work and no doubt, like the rest of us, hoped that things would turn out better than they have and I don't have a problem with that either. I have remained open minded about D&P and CG but I have major doubts about the way things are going. I don't think CG has the funding and I have real fears that we end up in admin again. This is like a re-run of a horror movie. If Green does not have the funding why was he given exclusivity, where was the due diligence? Why is Ally saying so little? We need answers. IF green has the funding he needs to prove it.
