  1. A damn sight less than Martin Bain was getting wouldn't you agree?
  2. I'm sure I read at the time the SFA accepted the suspension. What's changed since then?
  3. we urgently need promotion this season though. Another season outside the top flight could be financially catastrophic
  4. I long for the day we get a team on the park worthy of the name Rangers again
  5. I hope we don't get a DOF. When things go wrong the manager & DOF blame each other. And which decides on signing players ? If it's the DOF and they don't work out he'll blame the manager.
  6. I don't think it will take that amount of time or money
  7. Aberdeen struggled to make the top six before he arrived
  8. I must admit I've completely changed my mind on this & would go for Derek McInnes. You only need to look at the job he's done at Aberdeen with limited resources and realise he's done exceptionally well. That said however I accept there are other candidates who should be considered
  9. Yes we should give them time. I agree. But big decisions lie ahead very soon like the appointment of a new manager. We cannot get that wrong again
  10. Please read the first line of my post. How am I backing them ????? Regards a new board I do not give unconditional backing simply because they are 'rangers men'. They need to prove they can return Rangers back to the top of Scottish Football & beyond. I'm sure many of us are of the same mindset
  11. It's been apparent for some time now the board had to go. Simply changing the board guarantees nothing though. Big decisions & big expectations lie ahead for the new board. They have to get the big decisions right such as a new manager and improving the first team squad which will take serious money which I presume they have got. 40K PLUS will not turn up to see second rate dross we've been watching for these past three seasons. I'm sure we all know that
  12. must they be called 'rebels' ?
  13. Somers next ? Will Sandy Easdale now resign from club board ?
  14. What amazes me in all of this is what would people have preferred last Friday at StarksPark:- 1) sang TBB 2) wrecked Starks Park the same way the yahoos wrecked Motherwell, Dundee and Hertz
  15. UEFA certainly dont seem to see the yahoos songs etc as political judging by the number of times they've fined them in recent seasons. They get away with it at home because no one has the balls to challenge them. They are by far and away the worst offenders in Scottish football and they know it
  16. The SPFL won't do anything to Rangers or anyone else for that matter as the yahoos have the bigger problem(with their militant Irish Republicanism) and they won't get punished as long as Liewell wields power in Scottish football
  17. The Easdales must surely know their time is up & the writing has been on the wall for them for some time now. It is no longer a question of if they go but when they go. Preferably before the EGM which is increasingly looking totally unnecessary as it will be a formality
  18. Another thing I'd point out is that I think across the city know they've now got the biggest problem in this and will use their chums in the mhedia to highlight every misdemeanour from our support to deflect the spotlight away from themselves.
  19. The nonsensical arguement I've heard in the mhedia from time to time is that we've got the biggest problem. That is not true. Celt#*c have got the biggest problem with their brand of miltant Irish Republicanism which largely seems to go unreported. And I'd like to know how their support manages to get some of their offensive banners into stadiums. Do the police turn a blind eye to this ? Whilst we should endeavour to eradicate offensive songs & chants ourselves it cannot go unchecked elsewhere
  20. FWIW I believe it's far easier for us to eradicate these songs than for across the city & we should do so. Across the city they will find it almost impossible to get rid off their miltant Irish Republicanism and actually seem to encourage it by virtue of their GB.It is evident wherever they play but seldom reported in the media as might be expected. As a result a few in our support will think if they're not prepared to ditch their songs & chants why should we ? And so-called anti-sectrarian legislation brought in by McConnell's Lhabour government was seen as targetting Rangers whilst the other side were free to do as they were. Totally counter-productive.
  21. Clark missed a barrowload of chances last Friday night against Raith but didn't seem too concerned as he waved to the Rangers support when he got subbed just before the end. Boyd was the same against Raith earlier in the season. To date he has just three league goals this season. Miller has just four. Daly has three although to be fair to him has featured a lot less than ther others Our forwards have been abysmal this season and are the main reason we have struggled so far this season. All are out of contract in the summer. I wouldnt be surprised if none got new contracts
  22. Mr Gilligan has his work cut out when he begins his Rangers directorship
  23. He can't/won't say it because he's employed by the Daily Record that's why.
  24. Collyer Bristow? don't you mean ticketus?
