People arent going to turn up to support a dreadful side regardless of who is in the boarroom. The team needs addressed as soon as possible.

And whilst we're all quite rightfully jubilant at Park,Letham & Taylor acquiring this 16percent shareholding we must not lose sight of the poor standard of the team on the park. Hopefully we'll see a few arrivals this month(loan signings possibly) otherwise I fear a mauling in the OF game on Feb01 not to mention not getting promotion

How do they need to get 51 percent themselves? Them and other shareholders who back them may soon have more than Ashley, the Easdales and the Easdale proxies. Its a case of doing the arithmetic- 67 replies

Is anyone surprised at this if true?

King needs to prove he is genuine. Acquire shares. To date all we've had is soundbites & boycotts and a bag-of-a-fag-packet offer. I maintain what I said about the other two. Self-important blazer-chasers
-
The SFA are a national association under UEFA. They have not disregarded anything but introduced a ruling which flies in the face of what UEFA permit.Pozzo owns clubs in Italy, Spain & England but the SFA say Ashley cannot own clubs in England & Scotland. As someone on RM pointed out the SFA could now find themselves involved in a very costly legal dispute with Ashley which they are unlikely to win.How could they prevent anyone from acquiring shares in a plc ?
-
King will no longer be an enemy when he does something constructive like buyingshares. The other two are a couple of self-important blazer-chasers who get too much publicity for their own good
-
No chance. Rangers will be finished by then.

And who appointed Muir onto the board? And what instuctions was he given? And by whom? Try to consider the bigger picture here
-
You just dont uderstand it do you? You were given a very clear example of multi-club ownership
-
They'd get theirblazers and sit in the directors box as their 'reward'
-
Heard of Letham and Murray. How much was Murray investing? Was he getting it from Ticketus again ? Thought there was eight people. Who's the others?
-
Grenada/Granada english/spanish spelling. A spanish club. You're at it again ?
-
Our enemies are Liewell, Regan, Petrie,Thompson etc. One day Im sure you'll realise this
-
Giampaolo Pozzo owns Udinese, Watford & Grenada. What UEFA rules is he breaching? Why did the SFA introduce this ownership rule ? It makes no sense as there are examples of multi ownerships of clubs in Europe. I hope Ashley and Llambias take this the whole way.
-
Who would sit on the board then for him? One of his invisible investors?
-
An agenda to see a successful Rangers on the park. Unlike you.

Three strikes and you're out 24 Hour ban - Frankie

The SFA most certainly could block King if he's deemed 'not fit and proper' which following his SA tax affairs they would be more than entitled to do.It most certainly is an issue but if you would remove your DK-tinted specs you might start seeing things like this
-
Because these rules were bad rules. Plenty of people own two clubs
-
Well the people whom you call 'the right hands' never showed up when they were needed during admin/liquidation. I genuinely believe these people are loose cannons who are extremely dangerous given the amount of publicity they see to get
-
Rangers chief Derek Llambias must seek approval for vision of club...
RANGERRAB replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I get slaughtered on here for saying King needs to buy shares. In view of this what other alternative is there for him to prove he genuinely wants Rangers ? Doubt that somehow. However I don't see Ashley accepting this The only way he can invest is buying shares - something he refuses to do
