  1. Supposing you could turn the clock back and change things so that none of this shit ever happened. At what point in time would you set the dials?
  2. You're surely not suggesting that the SNP are running Scottish football! Or are you talking about Scots in general? So where are you from then?
  3. Perhaps the difference lies in the fact that the "debt to the public purse" was the result of crooked (allegedly) financial trickery by the owning company whereas the "football debts" were more like errors of management within club business?
  4. Then we have to accept it ALL, and not just the bits we like.
  5. It's not a matter of legal or not, it's a matter of honour. If we want to regrow to be even bigger and better than we have to do it right! If we want to claim our History we have to accept our responsibilities. And it's not a matter of "Look at what they've done to us", we have no control over what others do, but we do have a (small) say in what Rangers does to others. Let the others cheat, let the others bully and be bigots. But let Rangers be above that and reclaim the moral high ground.

  7. Unfortunately that's something we're not short of.
  8. Aye, exactly right. If we pay our debts they can't argue about our History.
  9. But that's just it! Where IS "Rangers" now? I mean the spirit of Rangers. Is it with Green in Ibrox? Or is it with us, the People, in the street? If it's with Green then the walkers are the bad guys, if it's with us then the guys who stay are the scabs. Now, off to that dark room.
  10. If a Colonel Mustard turns up with an offer for the club look for the hidden cameras. Oh, they're there already!
  11. I don't know - it's been a very confusing time. I think I'd probably welcome them back and say "Job well done, lads!". I'm almost feeling that the ones who turn up today are the scabs! As I said, confusing times.
  12. Hmmm, maybe these last 4 months have turned me into a total cynic. Somebody tell me I'm wrong in thinking that all the guys who could do better are going and all the ones who might find it hard to get a better wedge (age, hamstrings, etc) are staying. Just tell me I'm wrong, please.
  13. I agree, but when lawyers advise.....
  14. Those are not bigger plans and reasons, simply fairly straightforward legal tactics to avoid breach of contract hassles.
  15. No it doesn't, but he's not going to give up without a fight, all the way, and if SN has been well advised he'll have been primed to avoid any hassles.
  16. Are any legal wrangles small these days?
  17. Or maybe he said it under instruction from his lawyer to make sure Green has no quotes to use in court that may suggest that the newco is the same as the old.
  18. Just watched Green on the news - that guy is well dodgy and if anyone thinks otherwise they're using their rose-tinted specs.
