    Help !

I don't speak Gaelic but it sounded to me like the commentator was calling every Rangers player a fanny last night, oh wait maybe that wasn't Gaelic.
  3. Remember watching Bobby (Rabbie) Russell when he was an 11yr old playing for the primary school team and even as a 9yr old i knew he was something special. He was my first real life hero and when he finally made the grade i was always so proud to tell folk i knew him back when....
  4. My dad and older brothers were Rangers daft. My dad's dad wasn't into football really but had a softspot for Rangers. My mums dad was a big Airdrie fan and even managed to turn out for then once. I recall my dad taking me to my first match which was against Bayern Munich under the floodlights late 60's ish, Gert Muller scored the opener with Colin Stein equalising for us. The fans were singing "the hills are alive with the sound of Mullers a bastard" and that song has stuck with me ever since. It was after that match i realised i was hooked on the Gers. I also recall shortly afterwards getting my first Rangers Kit which just happens to be the current one and needing to get the badge sewn on by my mum and then strutting around proudly showing it off as not everyone could afford the badge back then. My whole family are and always will be massive Rangers fans. Rangers through and through til the day we die.
  5. exactly and i'm as guilty as most which is why i'm glad that we have folk that are prepared to keep trawling knee deep in muck because the evidence is there, just needs to be sorted through.
  6. If i'm not wrong, Stefan Klos was penalised for this (european match???) resulting in a goal against us, could be wrong though. The ref doesn't need to give a warning but they should remain consistant, pretty easy rule to enforce.
  7. Someone has to be doing all the trawling and i'm happy in the knowledge that more people like biggordy are stepping up to the plate to help uncover the corruption, in not only this city, but citywide and fight our corner not just in the football world but through local governments and wider afield. I'm sure most honest hardworking folk will be more than shocked at what is uncovered when most stones are turned. Good on biggordy and his like, i for one salute you sir.
  8. enjoyed the video, but would like to have seen a few more clips from by gone days in there.
  9. If Brechin are the standard of competition that we will be facing then i'm looking forward to the season ahead as they are on a par with the lower half of the premier sides.
  10. Goes back to what i said last week. If a decent TV deal is struck but requires our inclusion then we will gain our licence to continue, if no TV deal is struck then i can see us either having to except membership with conditions of further sanctions that should we refuse these conditions then i'm sure it will mean expulsion.
  11. I've been thinking all week that there will be/ has been a couple of scenarios.... 1. If the SPL get the TV deal it will be on the back of SKY being able to broadcast Rangers matches, that being the case then the SPL/SFA will have no option but to give up on their quest for further sanctions in the future and grant us our licence. 2. Should the SKY deal, for whatever reason, fall flat then the SFA will not grant us our licence unless we agree to further sanctions. It's as plain and simple as that IMO.
  12. and do you think that's beyond them?
  13. The maths are real simple for me, i'll pay whatever amount is asked and don't care if we play in the Scottish Am, Paisley and District or the Glasgow Blind league,i'll be there follow following:54:.
  14. Guy Gisbourne? Is that not him from the National Lampoon movies....seriously
  15. I'm pretty sure that the £12 will only apply to travelling support. We should expect to be in the 40k plus fan bracket for home matches which will require the same level of policing and stewarding and overheads, with the exception of players wages, remaining almost the same. So i don't mind paying the same price SPL prices for my season book so long as the money is going into the club. I'm also confident that most visiting teams will bring a bigger away support than most of the SPL teams have done.
  16. Winning the appeal against the illegal transfer embargo is what has Uefa is a hissy and they are surely the ones pushing to ensure the SPL/SFA have it included no matter what division we end up in.
  17. For me it's got to be the Brazilian side from 1970. So many great players in their squad and of course the great man himself Peleeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Closely followed by Holland 1974, Argentina 1978 and Spain 2010 oh and England 66
