I too rate Simonsen higher than Bell. Bell is a fair enough keeper but he does not command his defense or his area the way a top class keeper should, maybe that's an age thing and will improve with maturity, i dunno though.

Well said bluebear54. I have been in a few of those abusive relationships but quickly got myself out and then just when i thought there was no one out there on-line who shared the same love for the club as i do i stumbled across Gersnet. That was about about a year or so ago and the only times i hear from the other relationships is when something is posted here.

Very disappointed yesterday but not totally by the performance. Although we didn't play well we still made enough chances to win the match comfortably. Quite a few what if's yesterday.... what if Moshni had scored one of his headers (the second of which being a complete sitter) what if Wallace had scored at the start of the second half what if Laws strike was an inch or 2 to the left. I don't recall Raith having any what if moments and scored with what was probably their only shot on target. So as i say i'm disappointed by the result but not despondent as i'm realistic enough to know that the current crop of players are only good enough to a degree (winning div 2) but in the grand scheme of things they are not good enough to take us any further than that and that is why we will have at least half a dozen new signings come the summer.

Thanks Frankie, thought so. The other ticket is for the missus and wouldn't have minded it being in the opposite stand :-) but secured them at the same time so together it will probably be.

First time i've used the on-line ticket facility and have just managed to secure 2 tickets although i was not allowed a choice of seating, is this normal or did i miss clicking a button along the way?

Ally's remit is to get us back into the top division and to do it at the first time of asking which is why he has put together a team capable of doing exactly that. It really is that simple, we need to be back in the top flight with the opportunity of European football asap and the team that is currently in place should ensure this happens. Sure, at the end of this season and partly through next we need to be in a position financially to be signing players and building a team that will be able to compete at the top level in this country. I do however firmly believe that once Ally has achieved winning the championship he will walk away.
