Tavernier nowhere near the man he is supposed to mark.

I don't see where the confidence that we will "comfortably" finish second is coming from. We had a couple of good home results against Aberdeen and Hearts recently but that high intensity of play hasn't often been repeated this season. Relying on Garner as our main striker isn't working.

Rangers were very poor after Keirnan's error. We don't seem to have the character to come back from setbacks at times.

Again, one has to stop laying too much emphasis on every single game. Sure, one should poit out the good and the bad, but projecting future stuff from any good or bad performance does not yield any results, as, by default, the next game may very well swing the tune in another direction.
ICT came here with the same plan as the other teams, who rely on physical and simple tactic stuff. Stop us from playing, harass us all over the park and force errors. On occasion, we have coped with that this season, but on the whole, we are still rather mediocre when facing such tactics. If conditions and mentality are not up for scratch, it could yield rather fortunate results like yesterday and had we played the Scum, we would probably have seen another mauling.
A few general things though:
ICT always had up to 4 or 5 players in our half trying to stop us playing our passing game. We SHOULD have capitalized on this and played more long balls to Gardner and Waghorn, instead of trying to pass the ball to the next, well guarded player (and thus force mistakes). Yet, Wilson was not playing and accuracy is not exactly Hill's or Kiernan's trademarks.
Once we notice that our passing game is not on, we should try the odd precise long ball, OR, which angered me most, have players in possession of the ball run with it, rather than look for another chap - free or not and usually standing still and not on the move. Warburton demanded that our players shall be more brave, and IMHO no-one has taken that to heart, bar Waghorn perhaps. Then again, he's shooting as soon as he sees an opportunity anyway.
Passing from defence ... wicked. All teams have noted that the can cause us problems and harass our players like there is no tomorrow. Hence we concede sloppy stuff time and again, usually late on. SDoW should take a baseball club and threaten anyone defending NOT to do some fancy stuff and put the ball into row Z instead. For we'll have more people back and in position from a throw in, than a lost ball right in the middle of play.
IF McKay ain't up to it, be it physical and mentally (IMHO both the case yesterday), remove him earlier. Miller provided an instant spark and ain't that easily intimidated by tall defenders.
I agree with most of that but when Windass, I think, tried to run with the ball he lost it presenting ICT with a good chance. We do not have a good enough calibre of player to stroll through games, like we did in the past. Every player has to give maximum effort in every game.

I've nothing on Rangers TV yet. A touch worrying - how about everyone else?
I can't get through to Rangers TV website to pay for game

The problem with Waghorn is that he is completely one-footed.
How many chances has he squandered to try with his left foot?
If somebody comes in for him just take the money.
Completely agree. When he was through on goal and wrong footed the defender he had to slot it home with his right foot but instead changed to his left and narrowed the angle.

I think that midfield and forward line are too lightweight for a game against a big strong Hearts side. Unfortunately I can't think of on-form alternatives to bring in.

I'd like to think that Joey has left with two months wages and no hard feelings but I doubt it.

We won't get a fee. We'll probably need to pay him off
I would think the English Championship could match or better what we pay. Perhaps Derby will pay £10 million for him:D

End the saga and get rid.

Personally I doubt it although King made it clear that European football was one of his targets for the season. I think most supporters will back him until the end of the season.
Not if we are toiling below 3rd place.

We haven't played Hearts yet.
Are we confident we will beat Hearts or any other SPFL team?

Only one of them has beaten us all season with a last minute goal that I recall.
Hearts and Aberdeen are above us in the league.

If Warburton's team does not achieve a victory on Saturday, it will call into question his tenure of the Rangers.

Surely a share issue is the way to raise funds for the club. The fans then get a stake in the club for their money.

The minimum requirement is top 3 to get into the EL. Anything else totally unacceptable
Agreed. Hearts after promotion last season made it to third and were challenging Aberdeen most of the season.

Agree with the sentiment but if it were an either or I want the 3 points on Wednesday ahead of this. It's imperative to begin stringing together a run of results in the league and pushing up the table. Beating them is always to be desired but this cup gets us nothing. I would feel differently if it came with a Euro spot.
Watched Aberdeen yesterday and some of the St Johnston v Dundee game today. We have got to finish above that level of mediocrity.

It was the Paul Gascoigne goal that broke me. After that I spent an hour lying in my bed with tear filled eyes. That was heartbreaking. I hopefully will watch Scotland but to be honest I have no idea when we are playing yet.
That was another humiliating defeat which was too much for me. Jeezo all Gary McAllister had to do was put that penalty in the net. Now he is back coaching the Scotland team

It may be cheaper to donate £25 directly to Rangers Youth Academy and stay with your current provider

As Calscot and others have said we have got to mix it up and stop being predictable. Why Warburton bought O'Halloran I don't know, we are not using his main asset which is pace with the occasional ball over the top.

Here's one I read about in our favourite tabloid today having an almost 50% goal average___ Alex Willoughby.
Alex Willoughby never reached his potential. I remember at Brockville I think, Willoughby coming on for the pre-match kickabout still smoking a fag!

When Kranjcar came on, he introduced the one-touch passing game missing throughout. Before that it was more often than not "stop the ball, run a few steps and look" ... allowing the opposition to get near or into position. Both McKay and Tav were not at their best today, I actually wondered why Dodoo did not replace McKay ... instead of Forrester.
I must have been watching a different game

Our three signings, Barton, Kranjcar and Garner who are supposed to take us to a higher level have all failed to impress. Kranjcar was very poor this afternoon, misplaced passes and losing possession.

It's going to be a long hard season going on that display

The end of the beginning: Rangers v Celtic

We played well at times, at other times we gave away possession far too easily and in dangerous areas.
