  1. Watching Acc v Wim & Liv v Sev side by side online. Very cool penalty from Windass who is very lively/active in midfield, spreading accurate cross-field passes that will impress the Bears at Ibrox. Give it a look, you might be pleasantly surprised.
  2. I voted for Jason Holt on both polls because he was my 'unsung' hero. 'Wee' Barrie Mckay on the other-hand has been an inspiration since that first game, first goal (Peterheed?) all those dark days ago. All credit to him for sticking with the program, despite his time 'out in the cold' and the criticism for his 'bad attitude' (......where did that come from!?). Never looks/sounds like he is capable of offending anything or anyone. Delighted that MW & SDoW recognised his talents and provided the stage that allow the 'wee man' to entertain us all season ............... it is only fitting. When the opposition send 1,2 & 3 defenders at him and he still manages to put it in the net ......... what a pleasure to watch. Wish the game plan included him taking a left turn to the byeline and around the fullback more often instead of cutting inside. Likewise when he does go inside & passes it off instead of shooting more with 'that' right foot. When he's been switched to a central midfield role and scored those splendid long range efforts it makes the heart skip a beat. The expectation as he matures, surely has no limits, IMHO. Looking forward to next season & hoping we can keep him at Ibrox for many years to come. ................ Oxley or Logan better look out.
  3. Unsung hero for me was Jason Holt. A dynamo in the engine-room who covered every blade of grass, effortlessly. Great value for the money & his goals were a bonus. Thank-you Jason Holt
  4. Pete said it in post #101 earlier ........ and confirmed in the post match analysis on SKY Sports, wee McCann had the video evidence. Basically he showed Kiernan organizing the defence & you could see him look @ Wilson and indicate Gunnarsson is your man to mark. Soon as the ball was kicked Gunnarsson ran to the open space where he scored from while Wilson ignored him & ran to where the ball was going .................... it was as brutal as that, "brain not engaged"
  5. Just tried it (from 4000 miles away) and it worked for me Hope it's working for you now m8 PS: thanks for that great video above - good song too - 'I Am The Resurrection' by Stone Roses, very appropriate
  6. Yes, Halliday got caught ball watching, just like Tav and drifted away from Rogic. Neither Halliday or Tav anticipated the cutback pass from Tierney more likely expecting a cross into the box. But I can forgive Halliday for that 84' laps in concentration because of his tireless effort, bossing Broon all game, tackling like a demon, and his penalty shot. Surely a worthy candidate for MOTM up to that point. The effort to eliminate that Tierney pass was what was required from Law. Halliday's boldness/effort has always been missing or all to fleeting in Law's play, especially on a day when we needed it most. If MOH & King had not been 'cup-tied', Waghorn & Forrester not been injured, Law may not have been on the bench at all, with any luck, IMHO
  7. For me, he lacks the effort of Clark, the grit & tenacity of Shiels, and the vision & ball retention of Zelalem. I thank Law for scoring his penalty, but, as we have observed all too often over the past few years, the Invisible Man 'forgot his bandages'............ .......hopefully for the last time.
  8. I've always considered young Zelalem to be too 'light-weight' for our needs & was afraid of seeing him play any major role yesterday. Not known for his tackling or shooting I was fearful of his usefulness in ET. But, as others have mention on this thread, his conduct was exemplary in retaining possession & wearing down an already leggy Celtic. His PK was simplicity itself. Law on the other hand .......... the ONLY thing he did right, IMHO, was score a penalty. Back or sideways passing and his cowardly refusal to take on a defender or simply make a tackle, culminated in the equalizing goal teed up by Tierney for Rogic. I sincerely hope he never kicks another ball in a Rangers shirt .................... In comparison, Shiels I would like to keep for his attitude & veteran experience, much like KM. While Clark's effort can never be questioned, along with his 'too few' important & timely goals, I expect (sadly) he will be 'down the road' ..................
  9. In the 12th minute Walsh down the left got free of the RB to put in a lovely right-footed, in-swinging cross to Nade in the 6yd box who took it on his chest then rattled it home for the 1st goal of the game. Both our young lads played the whole game. Looking forward to seeing them in the preseason along with the other loaners.
  10. Forrester's 2 goals both scored with the right, I believe
  11. Love the phrase ..............'mental dent'.......................... Over to you Stubby
  12. Can't wait to hear how the 'Celtic Reserves' manager is going to answer Pete's question in the post game interview
  13. Bit above my pay grade as MW would say, but, I sincerely hope you are right ............
  14. ............................ 4:0 now, latest by Stewart. A few digs by BBCeltic re Rangers defence being able to handle this attack ................... 5:0 2nd for Stewart as I type
  15. I was watchin' the Blue team ............ thankfully 'am no colour blind
  16. I watched it specifically to see O'Halloran in action and he did not disappoint. He certainly made the the St. Johnstone goal and was there in till the end. As one who was at the Gers v St. Johnstone @ Ibrox & watched him 'skin' our 2 defenders his speed alone would be and asset. Hope the rumours of agreeing personal terms are true and we get an agreement with St J. over the line .................... without paying over the odds.
  17. .... in reply to RANGERRAB "............................. cannon fodder in the top division next season"
  18. I remember watching Barcelona desperately avoid a certain corner to themselves and kicked the ball out for a throw-in for the opposition close to their corner flag. It's only becoming clear to me now that Warburton's possession style is based on the same philosophy of avoiding low percentage-kicks at all costs & to retain the ball is essential. Hence the short pass-out goal-kicks, cross-field passes and short corners as compared to the McCoist alternative we have witnessed for a lifetime. What we are seeing week in week out now is how I always imagined the game should be played, like watching Brazil as a boy. As for corners, goals will crop up from time to time but I doubt we will be risking 50/50 possession from too many long ball corners in the traditional 'Scottish' sense ...............
  19. ........your comments are a bit too techy/geeky for me but have a chat with them here :- support@rangerstv.tv I've found them very receptive to communication, critical or otherwise. It's to be hoped that their dept. can secure a bigger budget & make improvements sooner than later. Would appreciate reading updates on this topic as RangersTV is my most important link to the club.
  20. On a PC use Chrome & install the Hola app, then set to UK
