Read 'somewhere' that Peña was several weeks away from fitness. Language & culture shock alone may suggest he simply needs time to adjust. As our most expensive signing I like the idea of bringing him along slowly, saving him as a 'secret weapon'. We seem to have considerable depth in MF, including our U20's. Can't wait for the First Park game

Ryan Jack played 90 minutes + 11 subs used. 2 players for every position being used. Lots of good chances with 2/3 excellent saves by the SJ keeper(s). Onward & Upward

FWIIW - I thought this was Garner's most constructive performance of the season in a game more suited to his style. I shudder to think what/how 'The Breadman' might have handled this situation... .......... thoughts !?
