I had a little think about the game last night. When the team isn't playing well, Ally gets dumped upon. In this benevolent mood you are in, does that mean that Ally gets some credit and praise for this vastly improved performance or did the players create this improvement all on their own? Just asking.

The greatest sound to a man, is the sound of his name being praised.

Summary. Today we just watched a pretty good football match in which our team played good. Hell we even got praise from SBS. I would direct your attention to the fan choir. That is the best I have heard them in a long while. Give the fans what they want, can feel, can see, can trust and look what happens. They react with a unified, emphatic response. The fans aren't dead, just scunnered. They're just waiting to be able to believe again.

I honestly never thought I'd see the day when Rangers would get praise from SBS. Wow. Good for you.

That's where your plan stumbles right there. You should work on proving that part before you go attacking someone else's plan with a bunch of hypotheticals. No sale, once again.

I have no ties to, or preference for RangersFirst. I have nothing to sell and I think you are reading something that is not there. I have not asked anyone to favour any thing, I have merely stated my opinion.

I'm not going to argue about their removal, but it is a fact they did buy a stake in the club, right?

I have no argument with you personally, I don't know you and because of that I shall not get into a protracted argument with you. Let me give you an analogy to help you understand my position. When C1888c were beating Rangers easily under MON, it was not up to MON to tell us how he was able to do that. It was up to Rangers to figure out why that situation was the way it was. Eventually we worked it out.

Let's make sure that we are speaking about the same thing here ... http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/trust 1trust noun \ˈtrəst\ : belief that someone or something is reliable, good, honest, effective, etc. : an arrangement in which someone's property or money is legally held or managed by someone else or by an organization (such as a bank) for usually a set period of time : an organization that results from the creation of a trust Full Definition of TRUST 1 a : assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something b : one in which confidence is placed 2 a : dependence on something future or contingent : hope b : reliance on future payment for property (as merchandise) delivered : credit <bought furniture on trust> 3 a : a property interest held by one person for the benefit of another Now, you are putting yourself in the position of spokesman for a scheme to sell something. I am in the position of a 'customer', and I'm telling you no thanks. I am also telling you, politely, that the reason that I don't want what you are trying to sell me is that I do not trust the board of the organization who is offering their product for sale. Before I buy a product I have to have a belief in that product or in the seller of that product. The reality of a salesman, or spokesperson, is that that person first has to sell themselves as being reliable and trustworthy to a prospective customer before they can sell their product to that prospective customer. I think you may have this situation a little bit ass-backwards. I do not require to have to make a case as to why I have a lack of trust in the board of the RST, you have to convince me that I should have a trust in RST. For sure, there is no way you will do that by stating that I am part of a group that is hopeless and dysfunctional, and is apparently to blame for the plight of Rangers. I remain to be convinced that your approach will convince the majority of that hopeless group to sign up.

Do not put words in my mouth. Perhaps I did not make myself clear. I do not trust the board of the RST. I have not denigrated anyone else intentionally, the supporters are free to do as they please and I have not said otherwise.

That reply that you are attempting to direct sarcasm at, has nothing to do with the Rangers' support in general, but rather the reply was purely directed at an organization.

If someone posts something and others don't agree with it, they are to say nothing? This is wrong on so many levels, and to have an administrator agree with it, well. Do you think it might be better if you allowed bears to make up their own minds as to why, when and how they purchase shares if they are so inclined? You, sir, are entitled to post your preference, allow others to do the same. To decline to participate is having a pop? There was no denigration or bitching in the post, only a reason for non-participation on the invite extended.

The Right Man At The Wrong Time - (latest from McMurdo)
barca72 replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
If they have hired this patsy just to fire him with a large payout as they have done before, why? Where does this advantage them? If the end game is to bring the club to the brink of administration before they have an excuse to sell Auchenhowie and Ibrox, why not just sign another couple of donkeys and continue with the boycotts? As far as a drain on reserves go that would achieve the same result. Why go through this charade?- 59 replies

In fairness, as soon as this SportsDirect thing was made public, I immediately thought that this was one of these 'onerous contracts'. It must be a real burden to men of the calibre of Wallace and Nash to be denied the ability to enhance any income streams that may be available. p.s. This is NOT and endorsement of the present board.- 59 replies

Fan board elections now closed as of Saturday 20 September

I'm telling you, and you have to take it on trust, that the NARSA membership as a whole had nothing to do with these three individuals appearing as candidates. -

Are you trolling? Because, really, that is a bit unfair to the individuals involved. -

It should be stated that the membership of NARSA did not choose these candidates to be put forward as candidates to be chosen for this board. They did that on their own as individuals. Why three NARSA people were chosen as candidates in this category only the selection committee knows. Maybe they were the only ones who applied. -
