  1. I should have added that what I posted re recent history was also why there is a "pervasive" "victim mentality" amongst our support - I view it as more inevitable than "sad" "to see", because we are victims. I agree that we should be wary of letting it colour everything, but it is simply cause and effect in action.
  2. Or we are just not very close to getting anyone.
  3. Fair enough, I just went by the OP's words and did not click on the link he provided. Perhaps I should not have replied without having done so.
  4. I must have imagined the attempts to stop us doing a quadruple by stealing the league and knackering us for that and the Uefa final. And obviously the illegal demotion of us to the bottom division and stealing of monies from us and chocking us as we lay bleeding and defenceless were all just part of a complex nightmare from which I'll wake up one day and no longer feel victimised. Or not. If you are assaulted, robbed and the subject of attempted murder then you are, by definition, a victim. The post cup final scenes were another clear example of victimisation and that is what is really sad to see.
  5. I am not surprised in the slightest, and that has nothing to do with the quality of goals we have scored. I expect it to be goals for sellick, sellick minded players and goals against us. Surely those are the criteria?
  6. It's very worrying, to put it mildly. They must do some practice moves. Actually, I've seen some "training ground routines" tried this season - corners and free kicks. not often enough, but some.
  7. change of banner at halftime: https://postimg.cc/image/ez9394ukr/
  8. Anyone able to sum up opening half hour? Ta, in advance....
  9. He took umbrage at our "treatment" of Le Guen, iirc
  10. I see, as expected, that the title was not wrapped up today, leaving that possibility open for next week.
  11. More from that AJ nonsense: " "We as a board have to take a very objective view and not be kind of swayed by the last result, whether it is positive or negative." Does that imply he thinks the last score aside things are not absolutely dire? Isn't the record the same as that for which they ditched Pedro? How does this curve fit with what King said a year ago, and two years ago: “In terms of looking forward from where we were four or five years ago at the bottom, the progress that has been gradually made, we are probably ahead of the curve in reality if we finish second or third. “We are making progress. “Hopefully the curve will be fast but it is still going to be gradual, it is not going to happen overnight.” There's not a single word or hint that the board have been looking for a manager.
  12. And we can all relax, because: "RANGERS are ahead of the curve in their recovery despite the current disarray at Ibrox, according to director Alastair Johnston." Are they really expecting to sell season tickets by coming out with stuff like this after the week we've had and that gutless lack of a performance? Dear oh dearie me.
  13. I'd take him as player-manager, even still. With Mols up front and Gough at the back! C'mon the oldies! Sorry for levity, but I can't face being serious as I cannot see a way out of the hole we are in.
  14. And if the tactics aren't spot on and they are not up for it big style a week on Sunday then the semi-final may seem idyllic in comparison
  15. I was thinking that this was the last thing we needed. Then I read the 1872 statement and I began to wonder. Nah, still the last thing we need - both subjects just more aggravation and depression in an already unbearable week.
  16. That double-jeopardy rule amendment only applies when there is an attempt to play the ball (in the referee's opinion)
  17. I know that we have bigger problems and worries, although what I am about to share may be symptomatic of some of those: Here's a link to an ecstatic t*m cheering today's result, praising the IRA and talking of hunskelpers. The reason I am drawing attention to it is because it is, apparently, from one of our youth players - surely not? https://twitter.com/jackross1872/status/985558526473981952
