A good question. In the interests of staying polite I won't say stark, raving bonkers.....

It's hopeless, wouldn't matter if he was on the board. Would just be outvoted like MM and Walter. Two were no good, why would one be?

Nerves jangling here, so desperate for good news, so frightened that it won't be... that was to the first version Frankie posted, that a statement was forthcoming.

The board's statement reads exactly like a typical politician/journalist double bluff. leak, get accused, demand apology, muddy the water, playe the victim..the "as if we would do such a thing" is beyond effing parody. "integrity" ffs after all they have got up to?!

Rangers Supporters Trust 'suspend spokesman over improper conduct'
SteveC replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Possibly though how anyone can perceive what is happening as anything other than a disgrace and what should be happening as crystal clear is baffling. Spivs and gangsters in suits out. Rangers men who support transparency and fan representation in. A return to a club to be proud of, fans interested only in supporting and defending the club and not attacking each other. It's not as though we didn't have enemies inside and outside Ibrox already. We've a lot to do before we can even think abut the football side again, and then we've a lot to do there. This should have been a period away from you know who where we could build from the grassroots up, encourage youth, a club style, plan for the future and return to the top refreshed and renewed. Instead..................... -

It'd never get published/released, would seem too fantastical - sadly we are way beyond satire, as is our beloved club. btw who is "ED"...oh wait, no - I don't want to know -

I wasn't having a go at your post, pal - it is just that the opening sentence was "I can confirm you're full of shit." which came almost straight after Frankie's post (324) ticking me off for replying to crucible (in a somewhat less direct manner) and Frankie asking for an end to personal stuff. It was just a funny juxtaposition - I tried to make it clear I was talking at a side issue to your main point which was, of course, a serious one. -

I know it's a serious topic and I thank you for your insight from an office bearer's position....but I have to say your opening sentence made me laugh out loud coming so soon after post 324 -
is there an alternative universe where Rangers fans' get nothing but good news?

Apologies, it's hard not to return a "nibble" with a "bite" in such a testing week. I've always found ignore pretty useless as you see the comments quoted by others anyway but I'll try that in future or at least "bite my typing fingers". It doesn't feel like Christmas is coming, but a merry one to you all. I've really liked this board this year, it feels (or at least used to!) like an oasis of relative calm compared to the others. I apologise for getting caught up in anything that would disturb that calm. I'll keep off the volatile threads. -

In a morning filled with posts making astonishing and barely credible claims, this still stands out as a cracker to post on a forum about RFC. -
Under 20s won 2-0 at Dunfemline tonight. Murdoch and Gallacher scoring Eeam: Kelly; Halkett, Gibson, Gasparotto, Sinnamon; Murdoch, Telfer, Ramsay; McKay, Gallagher, Stoney. Subs: Smith, Mills, Wilson, Ogen, Hardie

I don't think they are a great team either but I think we'd need to spend a lot more than 20 Million because: 1) they will spend when we get back 2) 20 million if it includes wages is not many players 3) lets, say, we get 5 players in for 20 million - how many will make it? What's the average for players coming in being a success at Rangers? What's the ratio under Ally? To get a handful of players that would actually settle and do well would cost a lot more than 20million. Meanwhile our enemies will strengthen every time we do/try to. It's probably all moot now anyway given what we are being told re the vote. A long run of even more cracks at getting group stage money for the mendicants. It's a disgrace

eh? How could private e-mails be in the public domain? Business e-mails, e-mails to one's wife and (many) mistresses (sorry, thinking of politicians who lecture us on "family values") etc. etc. Would you say the same re snail mail letters, telephone calls, faxes? -
who would buy? Why would they dilute the already diluted share value? I ask because I have no knowledge of such things

I think he said that "I was told (at the beginning - in context of his quote) they were rich Arabs who wanted their names to be kept private". That is very different from him thinking they are, I am pretty sure he does not think they are, nor do I.
