Or three streets for 1p and the relocations paid for by Glasgow taxpayers? Bet the chnts have a lot of deflecting defence tactics in place already. We'd need someone powerful to investigate - they have the media and the political side sewn up

I see they are claiming that they paid going market rates in their press release tonight.

Yes, sorry - it was clear when I wrote it but not when it arrived, now amended

what a sad, sad thing to have to read (that Sons of Struth have to close due to bullying from those complaining about being called bullies)

Perhaps, perhaps one could deduce something from folk who only seem to post re RST and its hierarchy rather than RFC though, no? This is GERSNET forum not antiRST forum. Or was until about a month ago....(still is, mainly, of course!) Rangers matter - individual fans, fan groups, fanzines, bloggers and (sorry admin!) fan web forums do not. All of the things mentioned are supposed to revolve around the football club, not around each other.

Thank you, Zappa, i'd rather write openly if I may because this is a forum that supports that. I am grateful (see previous comments) for the relatively sane and fair way things are here.) I am no "flag waver" for FF, I've been banned twice and resigned once in a mere four years after all However the treatment it gets on other forums (not here) is so vile as to be akin to a trip to a tarrier hole in the Gallowgate. I will never understand the passion with which we attack our own - especially as we laugh at "tim on tim" fall-outs. I guess what I wrote above was mainly propelled by a fear this forum was going the same way. inching that way, perhaps, but still.... One comment against to me (admittedly only my opinion) a poisonous forum with free rein to bring down Rangers FC and, a an albeit mightily flawed forum for mostly Rangers; fans - treated very differently, and not just on this thread. The last month has seen a discernible of personal agendas being driven all because of an RST "storm". Rangers are what matters and we are at a crisis point (again!) in our history, I spent/have spent years in fandom in other spheres (science fiction and music); running magazines/clubs/fan sites on a worldwide basis - in every case I have walked away when the commercial/audience side was at its peak because everyone I was involved with had become obsessed with the magazine or site rather than the authors or musicians we had started out supporting. Fandom seems to have an inbuilt curse.

And so yet another thread I have started on a Rangers' forum, about the governance of Rangers, descends into, disguised at times behind the thinnest of veils, an anti- Mark Dingwall thread: another rehash of personal grievances and vendettas beckons, nothing to do with the governance of the club or related to the team we are all supposed to support. I note also that I had a post about RM deleted last month that was less critical of that forum than a host of posts re FF have been both before and after my post, yet they were left to stand.

Also astonishing was not overturning the 11-1 voting rule and resetting gates receipts back to 50-50. why wild any businesses not go for such control and revenue? Fear or bribery.... Or both carrot and stick?

earlier, from same newco-CF twitter account as above, there was an extraordinary - if true - exchange between Sandy the illiterate thug and Toxic the pissed, semi-literate hack. I can't paste in images, sorry - for some reason they did the last exchange in text

Strange email discussion on 2 October 2012 between Sandy and the CEO. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Craig Thanks for your email some parts were not asked for but if the papers have misquoted you should we not rectify The rest I will wait to see you face to face as feelings seem to be running high on certain matters . Just one point I have not moved page nor being influenced by anyone though some of the things that have been said are very close to what has happened . Yours Sandy Sandy Easdale Director McGill's Bus Service Ltd On 2 Oct 2013, at 11:59 AM, "Craig Mather" wrote: > Morning Sandy/All, > > Regarding Ally, I was asked to comment on Ally's wages in the accounts. I said I cannot comment on what wages where offered to Ally by the previous regime however I have asked Ally to consider his wages and take a significant pay cut. I said nothing has been agreed yet and no contracts have been signed however Ally has come to the table to discuss a pay cut which is good because we cannot make him take a pay cut. Nothing is in writing but Ally is aware of his wages and the associated costs when we are playing in the division we are in. Agreed with all of that, but have to admit our case would be stronger had we not postponed games from Saturdays because two or three players were away on international duty v. teams with less resources than many Junior clubs. The care and consideration for the punter was sadly lacking when those games were added to our midweek kick-offs.

When I was going to games, as the 60s became the 70s, Rangers fans often wore Rangers and Liverpool (separate) scarves. I had a traditional Rangers scarf round my neck, a blue and white scarf on one writs and a red and white one on the other. Septic fans, for obvious reasons, did not carry Everton scarves but there was no doubt that we tool Liverpool's side and they Everton's or, as TV highlights drove things: they took Busby's Rags while we took Shankly's Liverpool . Our highlights in those pre live TV games' days were two channels each with an English and Scottish game - very often this was Liverpool, Man U, Us and the unmentionables.

A lovely post, many thanks for it . While I agree with this: "Follow Follow is no longer just a song, it has become our standard." I wish it was being sung to the words I first learned (I know there are variant claims as to what was original) but when I first went to ibrox, 40 years ago and for many, many years thereafter it was sung loudly and proudly, home and away it was sung without references to Derry Walls or the Vatican. They cheapen a great anthem, imo - our central hymn, in fact.

He shouldn't have said he didn't know what he was getting paid though, to say you don't know your monthly wage after so many months being paid it was ludicrous. We'd crucify Somers or Stockbridge for lying as barefacedly as that. (I say that in loving Ally as a Ranger, btw. I will always love him for that even though I don't rate him at all as a manger)

This is the problem with those saying "don't boycott" - they seem to think it would deprive Rangers of money, rather than the more obvious thought that it would lower the ridiculous amounts the directors are personally making from us. I just sent this, a sad thing to have to send --------------------------------------------- Dear Sirs, I would like to now cancel my subscription to Rangers TV. The last straw being the announcement of £2.5 million paid for financial advice to a board that awarded themselves grotesque bonuses and share deals and blew the IPO and two sets of season money in just over a calendar year. One wonders what good advice would have cost. Please confirm when my cancellation is completed.

They would not be in the same state as they are now (which is still way ahead of us, poor though they are) They would invest if we were our very presence would motivate them to improve their team and the players they keep to try harder. The other thing is the 20 million might be wasted. Many of those bought have not been a success - 20 million isn't that much to gamble with, for wages alone on 4 year contracts, far less buying fees - a couple of Cribari and Sandazas and you've blown the lot

It was even worse than that, if he had got schooled he'd at least have learnt enough not to repeat the mistakes in the League and Scottish Cups ever since.

I just saw it on SSN ticker news said "serious foul play". Is that an automatic two or three game ban? If the latter he won't play again before he is back! Edit ...according to BBC (so probably wrong): McAllister's penalty secured the points after Rodgers had been hacked down by Luca Gasparotto, who was sent off.
