    That £7.8m is only the first team squad. Our football set up(football costs from my post) is way bigger than that sadly. It will be well over £10m p.a. Turnover hasn't topped £20m yet i don't believe and won't this year either i don't suspect. There is absolutely no justification for paying anyone upwards of £7k a week to participate at the level we have found ourselves in the last few years. The fact even that isn't enough to bring success should set alarm bells ringing in every Rangers fans heads. Speaks volumes for the management team.

    It's not really. It's an indication of what Celtic are looking for for their players. The rhags reported Celtic valued Forster at £10m+, no one made offers for 2 or 3 million, they sold him for £10m. The rhags reported McGeady was worth £10m, no one offered 2 or 3 million for him, they sold him for £10m. The rhags reported Kki was worth £10m, then £8m, then £7m, no one offered £500k for him, they sold him for over £5m. Deila can say what he wants, he is nothing more than a yes man for Liewell. If Liewell says Van Dick is away, he's away no matter what Deila tells the BBC.

    They have had to though or they would have been in real trouble. Hearing today Van Dijk is latest to leave but no big bucks there, a loan move to Sunderland only apparently. He is their last big money player valued around £4m. The rest are bog standard SPL players. No more big hitters though the mhedia will report otherwise.

    At over 50%, is it? Is it really? Have a look at our accounts, our 120 day review. Turnover averages at £19m and football costs well over £10m. It is disgustingly high.

    It may not be the issue, but it is 100% undeniably, an issue. A huge one too. We have lived outwith our means again, with no lessons learned, in order to win a couple of leagues we had won before a ball was kicked. We have lived outwith our means yet again, not learning our lesson, in order to struggle with the likes of Peterhead, Stirling Albion and Queen's Park. We are an absolute disgrace of a football club.
