    Remember when Alex McDonald joined from St Johnstone he got the same treatment from a section of fans we stuck with him and doddie came good really good , so let's give the new manager a chance and see if he can get the best out of the player .

    My old father old Foggy ran our club one benefit for the brother and I we went everywhere for free he had to give it up when he went blind but never missed a game on the wireless.

    Haffey was quite a good goalie in the first match he played a blinder in the replay he had a stinker , the England match was different England used an orange ball the Rangers players wouldn't kick it and Haffey wouldn't touch it .

    Was there again yesterday and watched youngsters playing a training match and it was very good to see them enjoying football maybe the future is not as bleak as some people would have us think .

    Someone said Murtys failed 4 2 3 1 system but if you look at the world cup most sides have played this system it's only they have better players we will find the formation that suits us best but it will take a little time so we will have to give the team our full support as I am sure the fans will .

    A wins a win two goals in our first competitive match with a clean sheet is a decent start for a new manager with what is basically a new team performances will get better of that I have no doubt .

    Won't be long now until our first competitive match of the season , bad news is my youngest grandsons going five years old he was at five games last season and we lost the lot .
