Match Thread [FT] Rangers 1 (Lundstram 90+1) - 1 Livingston

This isn't going to be sorted anytime soon. Even if we did change the manager, this squad would revert to type sooner or later. As I said at the outset, this season isn't going to be much fun. It'll be the summer when wages are freed up and we can surely start to break up this squad. It will be at that point that a decent new manager might fancy starting. We might be forced into a change earlier. A doing from Napoli and dropped points against Aberdeen next weekend would see the boos turn into protests. Short to somewhere approaching medium term is looking complicated -
I know the timing of the poll makes it skewed but the numbers still tell a story. FF poll of half an hour ago Sack or Back ? Sack : 97.1% Back : 2.9% 891 votes

Two summers ago was the time to start refreshing the squad. -

The Celtic implosion of a couple of years ago started in mid October but Lennon was kept in post for months more, providing us with entertainment. Now we look going down the same route. We can be different in how we react and change the manager early or we can twiddle our thumbs and suffer ever worse. -
They can point to reasons why they should keep him in post but we all know where this is heading. A real doing in Napoli might signal the end.

Gerrard brought leadership and at our club playing the domestic game, that was fundamental. Beale, by himself, would have crashed and burned. Beale with successful experience as a number one, maybe. But as Scott mentioned, if successful he'll have more options. Steven Gerrard was the right man when he arrived at Ibrox but as always happens, for one reason or another circumstances change, it ends. The plus being we got a substantial lump sum from Villa, rather than the customary bank transfer going the other way.

They are about a return (making money). Realistically, how do you make money out of Rangers ? -

Inject is American for remove. I meant better to keep all the Foxy chat to the dedicated thread. I know I am a serial off topic offender and it is rich coming from me but this type of topic is best all together, for easy reference. -

Not something we should be wanting to happen. -
Maybe he just wants to stay at QPR. They might be swapping places with Wolves in the EPL next year if he can keep things going.

Aye, maybe for a few weeks, then it goes Pete tong again -
Gerrard and Beale were good together. Individually, I don't think they work at Ibrox.

I'm thinking Rousseau 1 zip has a correct result but no, lol -
Then recruit some that will generally be fit and able. Or start using the likes of McCann and McKinnon. If Jack were to prove fitness between now and I springtime, then maybe. The summer rebuild that never ever was #groundhog
-
Ryan Jack talks on new deal. Is that a wind up? If he were to stay fit and play well for the rest of the season, then there may be a conversation to be had, but now, just NO.

Unfortunately, not the way some of today's footballers think.
