  1. Scottish clubs in group stages Scored: 5 Conceded: 32 Hearts will get stuffed again tomorrow
  2. Average age of starting XI was 29.54
  3. Davis is ONLY 37 Three now !! Was always likely the second half would see Liverpool get back on top. Damage limitation again. At least we went for it first half. The Liverpool squad is on another planet.
  4. Round about 830 minutes including International. Although the first 400 was warming up.
  5. Ross McCrorie played in goal once. Can his brother play centre half ? Decent first half We can't defend corners You'd imagine Liverpool will up it and bring on the likes of Salah and Jota. We are going to have to burst a gut to keep in the game. Thing to do would be to score in the first 15 of the 2nd half.
  6. Rangers 2 Liverpool 2 Colak
  7. Going by what Gio was saying that is pretty much what we'll do tonight. Whether we take the chances that come along is the unknown factor....and is why Colak has to start. Would be a real curveball if Morelos started as well.
  8. Don't give them what they want !! List of FARE attended matches since they started up might be interesting.
  9. Under O'Neill's physical approach plus Larsson they had an excellent home record in the CL, mirrored by an equally awful away record. Funny how things change. Now, they tend to pick up the few points they get away from the disco lights. I remember a pic of legendary Shane Duffy in a European game, left in the wake of an opposition midfielder looking up towards the lights with that glakit expression. Priceless !!
  10. Clock is ticking Need to extend King's deal as IIRC he'll be going into his final year, next summer.
  11. One of those games that things went the outsiders way. Man City missed a penalty, played most of game with 10 men and rested Haaland. Neither of the big outsiders from last night lost. Shaktner also got a home draw with Real Madrid. We need to try and unsettle Liverpool, hope they aren't quite on it and TAKE CHANCES that come along.
  12. William Hill isn't giving them the full credit they deserve. In six out of seven of those games, they have kept the ZERO. 0-2 0-2 0-5 1-2 0-1 0-3 0-2 Those Disco Lights fairly improved the results 😁
  13. First reference will be the AGM. Let's wait and see if the board have anything to say on Strategy / Structure / Communication going forward.
  14. Of course, but that would surely include due consideration to a big part of it's revenue stream (fans).
  15. I think the most relevant feedback is that he has left the building a couple of weeks after the board admitting to significant issues with Communication, from club to fans. It was one of the 3 main things that I highlighted needed doing, a couple of weeks back. However, as you say, a lot is down to remit and how things are stuctured. I mentioned earlier in the thread how I think it is the Robertson/Graham combination that failed, regards communication (and other stuff). Some seem to have wanted the Communications director to act almost as a CEO in some of his output. That wasn't going to happen but we don't really know the dynamics of how things worked. We only know that it didn't work. We also know that the previous incumbent (Jim Traynor) wasn't a success, nor a professional PR/communications when he joined. Between Traynor and Graham that is seven years. Need to get a professional in and put a structure in place that serves us better. The definition of 'us' being important. Club/Owner(s)/Fans/C+F ? In the past Sir Duped brought in Mediahouse, more to protect himself.
  16. You have to go with reality when considering what the reaction will be to X or Y, rather than what you think it should be. Reality was that the Orange Order membership was always going to be flagged. From the word go, it meant that the appointment itself brought unwanted headlines, which were used to undermine/ridicule the Everyone, Anyone Campaign.
  17. Against decent opposition away from home, not really. Although you have to qualify that with recognition of a higher level of opposition last week. We'll find out more tomorrow regards the difference of approach between playing away and playing at Ibrox. They are there for the taking may be a supreme optimists take but I think we can definitely give them a decent game and hope that we take the chances that come our way and they continue to misfire somewhat. Against domestic opposition, yes and a major difference is the now almost habitual early Colak goal.
  18. Since qualifying for CL, we haven't laid a glove on any decent opposition. Cumulative 0-13 in 4 games. The players believe they can beat provincial clubs in Scotland but don't seem to carry that belief into bigger challenges. You could argue Napoli at Ibrox was better than the rest, so maybe it is in part down to the negative approach to difficult away games. Negative rather than pragmatic. For example, under WS there was an organised and pragmatic approach that players bought into.
  19. You quietly accept it but you are raging if that is awarded against you.
  20. Just as well the target market of the Triple01s isn't The Dads Army of Messageboards ? 😀
  21. Playing Sands at CH when we had Leon King on the bench was a mistake IMO.
  22. Colak makes the difference. Last three league games has saw Colak score in the opening minutes (8th, 6th and yesterday 4th) and that makes a game so much easier.
  23. A Rangers manager is nearly always under pressure and needs to rise above it. This season with Gio, it's been more his players that have been the problem, rather than the support.
  24. Draw for the Qualification group stage has just been made. Spain Scotland Norway Georgia Cyprus If what is a young team continues to improve, second place should be a reasonable ask. I am sure we'll manage to complicate things and tbf, Norway and Georgia have game winning individuals to call upon who are better than anything we have.
  25. I am presuming there must be money in it for the club. Sad reality for a football club in our position, trying to squeeze in every penny when the clubs we play in the CL are relatively awash with the stuff. Once again, Wednesday will see us take a plastic knife to a gun fight.
