  1. Agree, lots of assumptions on my part.
  2. Just a conservative "back of a fag packet" calculation. I'm sure the article said there are over 300 seats in there, and if you look at other hospitality rates, its likely to be in the £300 region. Could easily be over a £2m benefit to the top line overall.
  3. Interesting that this will increase capacity by 200. Say each of those tickets is worth on average £200 per game, and we have 25 x home fixtures in the year, thats £1m extra revenue assuming we sell out.
  4. It absolutely was dangerous. I was lucky when I got in as I managed to get a bottle of coke zero, but there was only snack food like crisps/nuts available by then (approx 45 mins before kick off), and I had planned to get something as my food plans were disrupted because the bar we sat down on was about 100 yards away from where the Frankfurt Ultras charged into us approx 6pm (NB - quite why they were unaccompanied by the police, is another mystery). When you start to pull it all together, there are too many things which I feel were a little too coordinated to be pure coincidence, in my view. In terms of the availability of water/food, and the comparison with a full capacity Seville game also didn't make any sense - I fancy that their fans don't go on a 2-3 day bender in advance of their games, and otherwise will be more used to the heat. And none of that explains why there were no contingency supplies or why they shut off the water. What recourse does the club have? I bet there's not a lot we can do other than raise concerns. UEFA - yet again proving they are completely unfit for purpose - a scam of an organisation.
  5. The Sportemongo situation takes a new twist... but hey ho. Going to check it out in person at the store later.
  6. Lundstram for me. But many excellent performances
  7. Steady on, bannocks are shite. 😂
  8. I booked after the Braga second leg. I should have jumped earlier as if we don’t make it, my plan is to change the flights to something else and I’d have probably got flights into Seville rather than having to get the train. Anyway, defeat does not exist in this dojo. See you there!
  9. What route/cost? im glasgow to Madrid via Gatwick on the way over, and via Heathrow on the way back. just under £200 I’ll book the train Madrid/ Seville if we make it.
  10. But fuck it, i'll be there if we make it. Gersnet meet-up???
  11. Nope. No way to tell, but I was hearing about some people making a number of applications and getting tickets, when I read the T&C's and cancelled my application, to go as a second person on my mate's application... when initially i was trying to double our chances by both making applications and putting each other's names down as the second applicant... not sure if that makes sense but the rules did say that duplicates would be automatically cancelled.
  12. I heard somewhere, might have been on Heart and Hand, and I haven't verified this so take it as you please, but worldwide its only something like 3% of corners that result in a goal. Which makes the numbers from Huddersfield all the more remarkable
  13. Agree Goldson was very good. He gets my vote too.
  14. We don’t half like to make things hard for ourselves. Wright’s passive mentality is really starting to grate on me now.
  15. It was crazy to lunge in like that when the ball is in a nothing area of the pitch. There was no immediate danger.
  16. What? He gives a quick opinion based on the replays he watches.
  17. Silly silly tackle, especially for an experienced player. Wasn’t a dangerous situation to warrant sliding in
  18. Huge game for Diallo. Perfect time for him to show us why Man U paid so much money for him.
  19. Apparently the hotels are also pulling a fast one with the free cancellation date being before the second leg ties... i.e. they will get a fair number that will likely cancel and the hotel will charge twice for their already inflated prices.
  20. Thats pretty much how its gone... the premiership clubs will split the cost based on league position. Presumably this will be netted off against existing prize money as there is no new funding for it. League Position Cost 1st £195,000 (16.29%) 2nd £140,000 (11.67%) 3rd £120,000 (10.03%) 4th £106,000 (8.81%) 5th £99,000 (8.21%) 6th £91,000 (7.61%) 7th £84,000 (6.97%) 8th £80,000 (6.69%) 9th £77,000 (6.38%) 10th £73,000 (6.08%) 11th £67,000 (5.63%) 12th £67,000 (5.63%)
