  1. I thiought Edu was outstanding especially first half. Mendes was probably better in the 2nd half when they started to get on top a little. Davis probably just edged Edu for MOTM. Miller was good too. S Smith struggled a little and it's looking like we still have a small problem on the left. How many years have we been saying that
  2. Do 3rd place and 4th get in this season? Hows that? I thought it was just 3rd and the cup team? Hopefully we'll see a couple at least get to the group stages of the competitions
  3. Massive blow that Papac is out. Has to be S Smith at LB. I would got for Lafferty ahead of him for his aerial power. Then again who knows what WS will pick
  4. Is it really only Wednesday A week before an OF game lasts forever! 2-0 Gers Boyd Velicka. Must win for us. A draw's not enough
  5. I can't stand Man U and have no great love of Darren Fletcher either but have to say I thought the sending off was harsh. To me Fabregas made a lot of it too. Game was over after 11 mins which sickened me as I thought it was nicely poised after the 1st leg
  6. Will be great to see KT back. Hopefully in time to start our defence of the SPL Title:rfc:
  7. Should be another great game. This time of Year is brilliant for football both in Europe and domestically. Still a lot of issues to be settled across the footballing calendar. 2-0 Gooners
  8. What for winning the League Cup and Finishing 2nd in a two horse title race :box:
  9. Well done Eck:) What a shame for the Hunts Hope Sheff U win the play offs
  10. Should be a cracker. Can't see Barca setting there stall out for a draw. Some fantastic players on show. Should be a good one
  11. Never tire of watching that. It's a bit like the helicopter Sunday vids
  12. Lets hope we're talking about 140-150 near the end of next season:cheers:
  13. I agree with MOTM - thought Edu was immense especially 2nd half. Bring on the JT's:rfc:
  14. Sorry for the grumpy response SA! Came on just after Man U had equalised and if you read eslewhere that upset me slightly!! Velicka has come in and hit form at just the right time from our point of view and Miller coming back in and grabbing a goal was good to see too. With the OF game coming up we need Miller an Velicka on form as Boydy will no doubt be left on the bench again:confused: I thought Edu was our best Player today and he has really shone in the weeks since replacing Fergie. Lets hope the Strikers can keep it up and lead us to Title 52
  15. Absolutely detest Man U to be honest but they have the Title wrapped up after that result and you have ro dsay deservedly so. The first Utd goal was a highly debatable penalty though:fish:
  16. What exactly has that got to do with Weir like?
  17. Ronald De Boer for me and to be honest when we signed Frank after that and had the De Boer twins. Remember watching those guys at Barca and Ajax and thinking 'if only' and the they were at Ibrox. Changed days - now it's Stephen Hughs and Andy Doram - exciting? Don't think so:confused:
  18. I don't think it will make a great deal of difference as I couldn't see him getting back in, in any case. Whether that would have been right or wrong is another matter. I just wish Mendes and Davis in particular would be up their game in the absence of their former Captain. Hopefully we'll see this in the next few weeks aheaad
  19. That can only benefit Hearts. I'm not a great fan of the JT's but have to admit Tynecastle is a great atmosphere especially when the OF are in town. Fans right on top of the players more or less. The fans don't half know how to moan to get decisions too:fish:
  20. Fantastic game and a draw was probably about right overall. Definitely Man Ure's to throw away now unfortunately. 2 4-4's in the space of a wee - unbelievable...
  21. Oh well! I was hoping there was a chance they wouldn't even make the play offs. As long as they don't go up
  22. The Championship is always a tight division and this year seems no exception. Is there a chance that Reading could miss out on the Play-offs even at this stage?
