  1. That's the first pre season game i have seen and I have to say it doesn't look like much has changed. Granted it was only half a team, but we never even had a single shot on target Adam had a decent game, but apart from that there was nothing and we need another RB ASAP
  2. Got mine today. Better than last year. Hopefully we'll be saying that about the team too
  3. I'd like to see Adam given a run in the team to see what he can do. Originally I thought Sionko was a right winger, but I never knew much about him tbh, I suppose we shall see soon enough. The games in SA should give us some indication of tactics formations etc
  4. In my opinion we a re still short in 2 or 3positions. We are still in dire need of a left sided midfielder(how long have we been saying that for?) a right back, possibly a left back and another centre half, but i don't think we have the money available to get these problem areas fixed.
  5. A little bit harsh. He was never given a good run in the team. He was never going to be an automatic pick ahead of the likes of Prso/Buffel/Boyd etc. I hope he does well at Motherwell - as long as it's not against us
  6. It's a shame for ZZ to bow out with a moment of madness like that, but I'm glad Italy won it
  7. The corners have been excellent and could have resulted in another couple of goals. For Rino's sake I hope the Italians win it

    Ricksen?

Total clown. The gut got a second chance to shine under PLG and now it looks like he has blown it. He's a liability

    Tevez

Tevez for Gers - don't make me laugh, a million miles out of our League
  10. Yeah agree with the rest of you guys on this. I thnk Jimmy would have scored a heck of a lot of goals up here. I was surprised there wasn't more premiership interest
  11. Can't see this being anywhere near as good as the Germany Italy game. 1-0 France in a tight encounter
  12. I can't wait for next season too. Hopefully we'll get Elmander and then I think we're raring to go after that. Great news for Boydy and Gers this:thup:
  13. Exclusive! New Deal For Boyd by Lindsay Herron SCOTLAND'S top striker Kris Boyd has signed a new contract extension which will tie him with Rangers into the next decade. Kris BoydBoyd blasted a remarkable 20 goals for Rangers from 20 appearances in the second half of last season after signing a three-and-a-half year contract following his transfer from Kilmarnock. That followed 17 goals for Killie in the first half of the campaign and then he notched twice for the national team on his international debut for Scotland against Bulgaria in the Kirin Cup in Japan. Now he has added a further 12 months to his deal which will keep him with the Light Blues until the summer of 2010. Manager Paul Le Guen explained: "I'm very happy that Kris has signed for another year. He is a good player and it was important to keep him. I'm convinced he can get better and better." The 22-year striker is thrilled to get the seal of approval from the new boss and revealed that he worked hard to impress him. Boyd told rangers.co.uk: "I'm delighted to have added another year to my contract. "I came back to pre-season with the attitude that I needed to impress the new management team. I think it was the same for a lot of us. "I guess I must have done something right and it's very pleasing to commit for another year! "I knew when I came to Rangers last season that I had to perform to the best of my ability. There was pressure on me but I had had a good start with Killie and I think that helped me.Kris Boyd celebrating after scoring in his first cap for Scotland "I had to perform at the same standard - or even better - and I managed to do that with the 20 goals. "We all knew towards the end of last season that changes were happening so I think we all made sure that we kept our fitness levels up so that we were ready to go work. "We knew there would be changes with new players coming in and what have you so it's great that I'm part of the plans. "It's pleasing that the new manager has shown faith in me."

    Boro

I'll give this a miss too I think. New season ticket is in the Govan Rear nearly 500 quid so I'm not going to bother with another 17 especially when it's only Boro, might have thought about it had it been a big name
  15. Has Hughes watched him recently? Surely he could have got better than Jeffers, like in the Championship for example. Candidate for first Manager sacked this season - Mark Hughes

    hamilton

One of the youngsters we signed from Rennes a centre half
  17. 2-0 Portugal. World Cup's coming home pppffft. The only thing coming home soon is the SPL trophy:p
  18. Delighted Hartson is away. Fingers crossed Petrov follows soon
  19. How poor a game was that? Ecuador are the worst team I have seen so far in the World Cup. Portugal or Holland will give England a run for their money next week. Ecuador looked scared of them
  20. How many times have we seen Larsson do that? Cons the ref into giving him yet another penalty and then balloons it - brilliant
  21. I think Bellamy is a great signing for Liverpool, still don't like the guy to be honest though. With another couple of signings Liverpool could challenge strongly next season
  22. Sionk did OK when he got on, but I thought he was RIGHT sided??? He seemed to be playing left or centre when he came on
  23. Argentina have got to be in with a shout. Just brought Messi off the bench too, not bad. The rest better watch I would say
  24. Hope your right Gribz couldn't stand it if they got in the CL proper. A wee 2nd qualifying round exit is on the cards hopefully;)
  25. Block 6 I think. It's in line with the 18 yard box at the Copland end.
