  1. I don't like it. I looks like a tube of Acquafresh.
  2. I don't understand why we're bothering with Dessers.
  3. I'm sympathetic to the basic concept: the sharing of knowledge, etc. They have links to City Group, with some coaches and Ange.
  4. I see it as the Chelsea owners trying to replicate City Group (Man City, New York City FC, Melbourne City FC, Yokohama F. Marinos, Girona, Mumbai City FC, Troyes, Palermo, etc.) and Red Bull (Leipsig, Salzburg, New York Red Bulls, FC Liefering, Red Bull Bragantino). "One of the core philosophies of City Football Group since its inception has been the mutual supporting of clubs through combined scouting and player sharing. While virtually all large European clubs operate an international scouting network, financial demands make it impossible to access local knowledge in foreign countries to the same extent as a domestic club could. CFG clubs therefore provide invaluable services to each other by using their own local scouting networks to share information on players between clubs." "In addition to internal player movements, CFG has also sought to foster movements of coaching staff within their network also; among the most notable relocations are French manager Eric Mombaerts, who has worked with Yokohama F. Marinos, Melbourne City and Troyes, Manchester City Women manager Nick Cushing transferring to New York and English coach Liam Manning transferring from the NYCFC academy to take over management of Lommel's first team." (Ange... ?) "The second of CFG's core philosophies regarding club collaboration is on- and off-pitch technical information sharing. Based around the tactics of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola – long coveted for the Manchester job by Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain after their experience working with him in Barcelona – all of City Football Group's clubs are given access to extensive databases of Manchester City's tactics and coaching methods, enabling them all to follow the group directive to use the same style of football, a style occasionally referred to as the City Way. This synergy of tactical style extends beyond their first teams to the academies and women's sections. In addition to this, the clubs also share other information, such as medical, performance monitoring and player management."
  5. They're making a move for Portuguese side Rio Ave next. Which club can we buy?
  6. Just to really rub it in:
  7. I thought Jacobs was the obvious choice, given that it was a bit of a coup that we got him in the first place last year (two years ago?). I wasn't sure why he wasn't automatically promoted, but it makes sense to go through the correct process. I believe he's highly regarded, so I'm excited to see what he can do. We just need a DoF next. (Jordi Cruyff is still free... 👀 )
  8. The most controversial tweet @Frankie has ever made!
  9. I reformatted the OP. It was hurting my brain...
  10. @RANGERRAB when our DoF makes a good deal:
  11. Or, nobody knows anything are we're all just wildly speculating? Don't like Bayern? Nazi b*stards have moved the goalposts. Don't like Tillman? The wee pr*ck thinks he's too good for us. Don't like DoF? Incompetent f*ck negotiating terrible contracts.
  12. I felt like Gerrard and Beale had his number towards the end of his run, but I don't know how much that had to do with them dropping a bit rather than us being better.
  13. Jordi Cruyff is still free. #justSayin
  14. I don't see much experience in the recruitment side of things from Morrow.
  15. Still happening. Not often, though. When I refresh the page after a while, it logs me out, but resolves when I refresh the page again.
  16. Seems to have corrected itself.
  17. I'm not criticising Greig; I'm having a pop at fans nowadays.
