Isn't the FA cup a special competition, a team from the Conference North division which is only the 2nd to the Conference south only lost 0-1 to Premiership Blackburn. Didn't see the game because I'm at work but these games astound me ! Shame there wasn't a shock tonight as the minnows would've got a money-spinner away to Sunderland in the 4th round.

Some scoreline, considering Forest are just above the championship relegation zone, managerless and Man City are apparently worth millions !! I think Mark Hughes will be a little nervous waking up today !!

Signing previous swedes for the centre back position didn't really bode well in the past: Svensson and Bjorklund being two good examples. To be honest, I've never heard of him and would much rather Christophe Berra !

Yeah, I think this could be it for big Davie Weir, I do hope the big man stays on for another year but for future seasons, I hope Bougherra and Tonel seal a strong partnership.

Cristophe Berra wouldn't go a miss, a future Scotland player, McCulloch was really badly caught out against Utd last weekend, I thought at first it might be a good idea but now I'm not so sure. Keep going big Dave Weir, just keep going big man......lol

As much as I like the guy and we all know he loves the club and the country but I feel he's happy to just sit on his contract and maybe not give 100% any more. It's like he knows he's nearing that age and has already reached semi-retirement. All the best Darche, I like you but time to move on mate.

I know there was a bit more at stake for Chelsea and I did flick over to scan their game from time to time but mostly I took in the PSV-Liverpool game and glad I did, what a strike by Rieira !!!

I do like him as a manager, let's not forget he delivered Spurs their first silverware for a long time, then again, I think any of us could do a job a Madrid with the players on offer in the squad and about �£200 Million to spend at our disposal !

We seem to beat Septic but then drop points not long after beating them every season due to a lack of concentration and effort. Maybe Walter needs Ally more to motivate the players more, then again, how do you motivate players to beat St Mirren after the mania that surrounds an Old Firm game ? I always wondered how unusual it has been in the past for players to play the likes of Juve/Barca/Marseilles (Big Euro teams) in a midweek CL match and then have to play the likes of Falkirk/Partick/Hamilton the weekend after ?

Massive game next week at Tannadice, one Rangers must win yet Utd are playing well at the moment and Craig Levein's recent committment to the club and a solid win at Inverness today means morale is high in their camp at the moment. Not only that but they will raise their game even higher for the visit of ourselves next weekend !

A bit of a dodgy decision calling off the Kille game, according to the boys on the Sportscene final score programme this afternoon they thought the pitch was OK but slightly frozen in patches but it was just the fact it was called off the same day as their club Xmas night out.................Hmmmmm ?!?!
