  1. I guess it's nice for teams like East Stirling today to get an SPL club for attendance reasons. Good game aswell by the looks of thins, finished 3-6 !!!
  2. Can't see it happening to be honest, I think Dynamo will win 2-1 at home.
  3. That was some interesting reading, I like this one best, I know he's always been a left back but he could temporarily solve any left midfield cover for this season only: BARCELONA Sylvinho Defender 34 Brazil Free agent
  4. There is another side to it, if they go out to Moscow Dynamo then we may be playing 6 more matches meaning they just have to concentrate on the league, remember we ran out of legs after our UEFA cup run !
  5. Guys I know most of you will disagree with me but it's got to the stage where I want all Scottish teams to do well in Europe because of the coefficient etc. We are trully struggling at the moment on the european front and the better our teams do in Europe the better. Motherwell are in a bit of trouble but is still winnable, Falkirk got a good result but against a Liechtenstein team I think it could've been a lot better. Celtic could realistically go out and if we finish second in the SPL this year (Doubt it like but just incase) then it would affect our CL campaign the following season.
  6. Loving the avatar Cotter !! Albertz, fukking legend !
  7. The BBC website is confusing the h3ll outta me, it says Celtic have been drawn against Dinamo Moscow in the 3rd qualifying round and if they win that they could get Fiorentina etc in the "2nd" qualifying round ?? Are we working backwards ?
  8. I was speaking to McGeady on holiday and nutmegged him for a laugh with a plastic water bottle.
  9. Le Guen did 2 good things for us and that was it, he brought us big Sasa & Clement although the latter was only there hoping for a move to the EPL. All the best Le Guen in destroying Cameroon's reputation.
  10. Just to start a completely fantasied rumour, how much to bring Hutts back ? Could do with his marauding runs in the champions league and let's be honest, Walter will likely play Broadfoot rather than Whittaker in the CL because of his aerial ability. Can you imagine Kirky boy marking Thierry Henry, it would be like asking Wee man from Jackass to man-mark Usain Bolt.
  11. Although I'm a wee bit gutted at losing a great servant to our team over the last 8-10 years is there any chance he could take Lee Mcculloch & Broadfoot with him ?
  12. Bit of a bizarre one this. Met three Man City fans in Ibiza a couple of weeks ago, upon discussing the multitude of attacking players they have they said they didn't really need Tevez and it was a buy just to show the rest of the world that they now have a healthy bank balance. More disturbing to those lads was the lack of defensive players being bought. Richard Dunne isn't good enough they told me and now with Vincent Kompany set to miss the start of the season are they lining up John Terry ??
  13. That's just the response I was looking for, I know we may be needing money at this stage but Walter has to realise that in the past few years we've been lucky with how players like Boumsong, Cuellar and Boughie have slotted in to our side and done superb however I fear that if we were to sell Boughie right now it would be unlikely that we get a player even half as good as him for the upcoming campaign and Champions League assault, we must keep him no matter how much we are offered. He has become an excellent player for us and himself and Weir are a great partnership and if we are to progress past the group stages of the CL then we simply must keep him at all costs. We lost Boumsong one January and we then lost Cuellar in a January, let's keep Boughie now and in January so we retain the league title Walter !!!!!
  14. The story in the paper read that she was the light in the big man's life but that the light had just gone out in his life, brought a lump to my throat, take care big Col and the children also.
  15. All the best to big John and his family, cancer will infect 1 in 3 of us throughout life and I think we all have someone close to us who has had this horrible thing, I hope doctors find a cure soon and especially for big John.
  16. Ha ha, excellent, well done those boys !!
  17. I'm sure he scored a brace for New Zealand against Italy in a 4-3 friendly loss a few weeks ago ?!?!?! Not really bothered to be honest, he'll never get past Boughie !
  18. Never heard of the guy, although it will be funny to see him on a cold December morning at Rugby Park.
  19. I can see us ending up in a group of death tbh !!
  20. As Gribz stated earlier, would rather see Hutton come back up the road tbh. Trezeguet was kept quiet by McManus and Caldwell in two 1-0 wins remember over the French !!
  21. Phoned the bank, the girl was expecting me to say Setanta as soon as I said that I wanted to cancel a direct debit...........
  22. Not surprising when you read 'PricewaterhouseCoopers' They are quite the machine when it comes to balancing the books. Jon will agree with me here though; they are a ba$tard when it comes to IT support. Their people are arrogant fukkers and drove us up the wall !! We don't support them anymore but they still haunt me !
  23. Surprised Falkirk let him go, he's a handful, strong in the air !
  24. Agreed, that Hearts strip looks like Stenhousemuir's or Arbroath's from 20 years ago !!!!!
  25. Obafeme Martins is better than him by a mile anyway ! He was one of the most exciting strikers in the world in his heyday but not anymore, lost a bit of pace too which was his main asset !
