  1. What's with the celebration? http://i42.tinypic.com/kdo9zp.gif
  2. Was thinking how Walter is not too convinced by Beasley or Fleck on the left so why not bring back Pistol Pete or maybe that dude (Bad spelling approaching) Belhadj of Pompey. I like Charlie Adam but his fitness and pace was always a slight worry for me.
  3. St. Mirren 4-0 Celtic tells me County have nothing to fear SA ! They are there for the taking !
  4. I attended last night's match and for the second game in a row County completely outplayed Hibs all over the park, 60% possession and 12 shots on goal. Hibs fans were fighting each other on the street after the match. Watching the highlights in the Mallard pub after the match was a bit surreal especially as the guy who scored the equaliser (Garry Woods) walked in to an heroic ovation and saw himself score on telly. Normally what happens is an SPL team comes to Victoria Park and dominates possession and has more shots on goal, not last night, even at Easter road County kept the ball better than Hibs. Last night though some of the one touch stuff from County amazed me, Hibs didn't know how to cope with the pace of the County players. Celtic beware, it'll take more than just Aiden McGeady to try and beat an on-fire team.
  5. Missed out on a KV Hamburg V Dortmund match a couple of years ago when in Hamburg on a stag do, we were all so hammered on the friday night that nobody could get up early enough on the Saturday to go and get our tickets. Remember the Dortmund fans that night though in all the Hamburg clubs etc. They were all very friendly and bought us drinks all night.
  6. 3-1 down from the 1st leg against Juventus, 0-1 after 2 mins tonight and they came back and won, what a match, what a turnaround !
  7. Didn't make the away match, it was sold out, should be able to make the home game, 5,800 capacity only in Dingwall and it's normally only the matches with ICT that fill the stadium, think County will beat them in Dingwall but wouldn't at all surprise me if Hibs steal a 0-1 tbh. We shall see !!
  8. Well well my little team from my hometown gave the mighty Hibees an almighty fright yesterday and Hibs know they are lucky to still be in the compettion at all. Played Hibs off their own park in that second half yesterday and if it wasn't for Ian Murray's last minute clearance we'd be in the semi's.
  9. This table is League goals only, he's scored a few in the cups too and I'd imagine has more goals than any of septic's strikers........lol Boyd Rangers 21 Stokes Hibernian 16 Miller Rangers 14 Jutkiewicz Motherwell 10 Riordan Hibernian 9 Samaras Celtic 9 Whittaker Rangers 8 (Right back) !! Fortune Celtic 8 Daly Dundee Utd 7 Kyle Kilmarnock 7 Damian Casalinuovo Dundee Utd 6 Craig St Johnstone 6 Goodwillie Dundee Utd 6 MacDonald St Johnstone 6 McGeady Celtic 6
  10. Ace read MF, all that remains is for him to turn Kyle Lafferty into a player and I may faint !
  11. Although I see your points I also have to defend the guy a little, a Scotsman willing to try and beat players the old-fashioned way, can only be good to try right ?? I mean other than Fad the last player I remember trying to beat a man and whip in a cross is Hutton or you may have to go all the way back to the days of Neil McCann !!
  12. Although I think we have to vastly improve before playing them again (Spain too) in the qualifiers it was great to get a confidence boosting win last night. Craig Gordon again came to our rescue and despite loosing Fad on the day of the match I thought Dorrans was a superb replacement. Good feet and vision, hope he plays more in the future. I still think Dave Weir has to be involved just to give the defence someone to look up to if anything. Great to see Boydy back in a Scotland strip too. Just a thought for the future, I'd love to see Hutton and Whittaker on the right, I think with Hutton pushing forward as often as he does Whittaker would easily cover for him and vice-versa, they are both proven right backs and love going forward so Whittaker could start right midfield, just a thought, just a thought !
  13. My father passed away recently, it's all thanks to my father I support this amazing club, I was about 4 or 5 and he sat me down to watch Rangers and a certain Davie Cooper. It took me seconds to make my mind up and support the famous Glasgow Rangers after seeing Super Coop in action. RIP Dad & Super Coop
  14. "Tottingham"...............used to love listening to Ossie Ardilles saying that......lol
  15. Still, what odds you would get on Miller......lol
  16. 1-2 (Miller and Papac) Don't know why I said Papac, think it'll be one of those ugly games where we'll grind out the three points by playing average.
  17. I love the skill ability and outright randomness of the African cup players, this includes the goalkeepers, anything can happen in these games........hilarious !
  18. Sorry guys I know it came it a bad time but it did make me giggle watching Dave Weir fall like a three legged horse, I only say that because we didn't lose but come on, it was funny as hell the way he face planted the grass.
  19. I've seen the Spanish riot police in action, they laid into us (Scotland fans) in a water fountain in Ibiza when all they had to do was ask us to leave the water fountain. They nearly killed a girl that day, blood pouring from her head and I got a tear gas cannister in the face. I tried to ask a policeman afterwards why they reacted in such a way but he just put his gloved onto my face and pushed me back against a wall saying something in Spanish.
  20. Alan Hutton gets a game 3 mins into injury time................bring him home Walter........bring him home !!!
  21. This is known as the Amir Khan day-after-effect !
  22. I'd agree with that, Serbia are strong nowadays, they had a good qualifying campaign. Ghana and the Aussies will be a tough battle too !
  23. Loved the part where he mentioned that he did his homework on Burley and he filled all the necessary criteria......WTF ????? Who will take the job: Craig Levein - He'd make players play for Scotland or kick fook outta them Billy Davies Greame Souness (Doubt it) John Collins (Arrogant ballbag) Darren Ferguson (Hopefully with major input from his Dad) A foreign Manger (Trapattoni is doing well for Ireland) Jim Jeffries (Not good enough IMO) Jimmy Calderwood (Not good enough either) The answer - Frankie
  24. I think Henry single handedly (Like the pun?) destroyed his own reputation last night and the guilt was all over his face when speaking to Richard Dunne at the end, a replay should be the call but FIFA won't do that because there's probably loads of Frenchman working for FIFA. The French aren't the team they used to be, too many individually brilliant players but they don't play as a team, they're lazy aswell. I think the Irish would have taken more fans to South Africa than the French too. The world cup & South Africa have definitely lost out on major revenue there. The Irish will perhaps challenge for a replay but it won't happen. The answer: A video referee !!
