I'm working right now less than 600 yards from the ground and can see the floodlights out the window. Just went out for a smoke but you wouldn't think there was anyone there, sh1t atmosphere. Caley down to 10 men now tho !! PS. If we're not top of the league by xmas there should be a steward's enquiry. No last minute goal from the smellies, I'm absolutely shocked !! My local team Ross County have given Caley about 10 players in the last 5 years and two of them scored today: Rankin and Cowie. Dingwall has the best youth set up in the country I'd say !!

Sorry I thought this thread was about my mate Matt Taylor..............lol

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/save-al-bangura?page=9 'Alhassan "Al" Bangura (born 24 January 1988, in Freetown, Sierra Leone) is a Sierra Leonian midfielder who currently plays for Watford F.C. in the Football League Championship in England. Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, he fled the country upon the death of his father. His father was a member of the Poro Secret Society, and tradition stated that his son must join upon his death. Not wanting to, he went to Guinea where he met a Frenchman, who took him to France and intended to make Bangura a male prostitute. When the man took him to England, he sought asylum.[1] Discovered by a Watford scout playing in a park, he joined the Watford youth set-up, and made his debut against Stoke City whilst still a member of the Academy on 30 April 2005 aged just 17, coming on for an injured Gavin Mahon. He started the following game against West Ham United on the final day of the 2004-05 season. In the 2005-06 season he has been a regular in the Watford side, making 37 appearances (24 from the bench) in all competitions, scoring 1 goal and winning the club's Young Player of the Season award. If not moving Whittaker to right-back and Hutton to right midfield then what about: ________________________McGregor______________________ _________Cueller_________Hemdani_________Weir___________ Hutton_______Ferguson__________Thomson_________Whittaker _________________________Buffel________________________ ________________Novo_____________Darcheville/Boyd_______ I think Charlie Adam would run Whittaker close for the left side because of his goals ratio. Kirk Broadfoot should be given a chance soon too.
-
He's starting to look like Dot Cotton !!
-
Another thing I was worried about last night was the lack of movement in the first half, countless long balls aimed at McCulloch and Cousin and nobody running ahead of them for the flicks ons. There was a moment in the first half that disgusted me and everyone in the Chieftain pub, there was a high ball in the centre circle, I think Fergie was the one who went up to challenge it while 7 Gers white shirts stood almost bunched up around the centre circle, they seemed static. I love Alan Hutton to bits but he got caught standing a few times and the left-wing back got behind him. He needs to stay switched on defensively. I wonder if right midfield would suit him better with Whittaker behind him??
-
I would have to say Hemdani, but thought Whittaker was excellent too. Great clearance off the line. Fergie's run into the box to set up JC was different class.
-
I fear if Capello gets the job then England may win the next world cup. The fans will have to get used to 1-0 wins though but yes I do fear the fact that he may transform the team. The English press will be cursing, he will not give anything away and he will not tolerate being stopped at every outing for interviews.
-
I was watching Hemdani's reading of the game last night, I think if big Davie Weir calls it a day (His pace being a problem) then I would suggest moving Hemdani into the centre of defence, I feel Cueller and Hemdani would be formidable together and pacey centre forwards wouldn't threaten these two. This would of course allow Thomson to be the deeper holding defensive midfielder which could open up Charlie Adam, Thomas Buffel or even Alan Gow's chances to join Fergie in the centre of midfield perhaps. I do feel sorry for Darcheville, the ball did bobble as he slid in to finish it off, I think we all know if that went in the game would've finished 1-1. The fans knew this too as they applauded him off the park despite his red card, let's face it, if Cousin got sent off there would've been fans screaming murder at him. UEFA Cup: This isn't just a walk in the park for us, there are teams such as Marseilles, Werder Bremen and let's not forget Bolton, Everton and Tottenham a possibility. I said to the lads before the game yesterday, Lyon are hurting and with us just needing a draw to go through it might be a bad thing as we may be more defensive than usual while Lyon will be giving 110%. We were all worried about Junihno's free kicks of which one rattled our cross bar but in Benzema or whatever he's called, Lyon have a fantastic footballer on their hands.
-
I feel sorry for Broadfoot, the guy seems very good and isn't shy in going forward either. Maybe towards the end of the season Weir could be rested and Broadfoot given a chance, just for future it would be good for him to get more match practice.
-
As much as I like most of the foreign players at Ibrox it was still great to see the amount of Scots in the team against Killie.
-
I don't think Milan will settle for a draw at all, having seen their game at the weekend tho I thought Milan were poor and if they play like that against Celtic tonight then Celtic have a chance. Milan are sitting 8th in the league at the mo so if ever a Scottish team had a chance to win in the San Siro then it's definitely tonight. I'm still going for a 2-1 to Milan tho. A couple of flashes of brilliance from Kaka will settle it.
-
Tottenham 2-3 Birmingham What a winning goal from Larsson, top corner, sweet sweet strike !!
-
I forget your over there Pete, any word on the whereabouts of the De Boeurs, Mols and Huistra nowadays mate ?
-
That's the one thing that used to make me bite my nails off whenever Celtic had a corner against us a few years back, Sutton, Hartson, Varga and Balde from corners and Stefan Klos would never come off his line, a great shot stopper but still I used to sh1t myself whenever they had a corner or free-kick. I think Craig Gordon is still Scotland's number 1 but would love it if McGregor was given a chance now and then.
-
I'm out tomorrow night but apart from that it's been a lazy 2 weeks off, can't be bothered coming back tho......lol
-
I like all Scottish teams (even septic) to do well in Europe as it benefits our wee country in all apects of the game but Aberdeen were lucky not to be 2-0 down after 3 minutes !! That Dutch defensive midfielder for the Dons looks quite a player !
-
We better watch that East Stirling, they are no longer the whipping boys of old. Septic are out.......lol
-
Stuart Baxter ?? Did he not manage Australia once ?? I think George Burley or Souness might be a great shout.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7109058.stm Croatia rose to the occasion in their crucial Euro 2008 defeat of England - after an apparent X-rated gaffe by an English opera singer at Wembley. Tony Henry belted out a version of the Croat anthem before the 80,000 crowd, but made a blunder at the end. He should have sung 'Mila kuda si planina' (which roughly means 'You know my dear how we love your mountains'). But he instead sang 'Mila kura si planina' which can be interpreted as 'My dear, my penis is a mountain'.

Yeah I've heard England won't join in, is it because they think they're too good for the rest of Britain (1-0 to N. Ireland) or is it because if we beat them we may go above them in the rankings ??? hmmmmmm
-
Yep, it can't come any sooner, I haven't eagerly awaited a Scotland game the way I have this last while since the Scotland v Brazil world cup opener in 98. C'mon the Scots !!
