  1. Clement Out - utter dross of a 1st half. Nobody with pass marks
  2. Goldson and Ridvan wouldn't get a game for Bo'ness Athletic
  3. Rangers 2 v 0 Hearts Lammers FGS
  4. A true legend and a giant of a man. Gone but never forgotten.
  5. Could still produce it as a retro topπŸ˜€
  6. Today's result at Easter Road heeps pressure on us - tomorrow was always a must win, but now it's a really must win πŸ˜€
  7. Right, we need to start a petition for Castore / Rangers to recreate this kit ASAP πŸ™‚
  8. With white shorts and maybe red and white socks πŸ™‚
  9. I agree and black and red is what I grew up with. Just think the red and white looked brilliant and always wondered why we deviated
  10. Yeah the blue and white striped top. Would look brilliant with a red RFC crest!
  11. Same starting 11 as last week with Ridvan (if fit?) instead of Borna.
  12. I always meant to look into the history of our socks, as I liked and still see historical photos of us wearing red socks with white tops. I also would like us to reproduce as a retro top the blue and white away kit of the 60s / 70s
  13. A better example might have been his "tackle" on McCluscky on his Rangers debut, or pointing down his shorts, then to the inhabitants of the jungle πŸ™‚ For all his on-field aggression, he was a brilliant football player. Some may say that makes the perfect combination. As for his new role with Rangers, I'll await official confirmation of role and responsibilities before getting my knickers in a twist.
  14. I said Gio ultimately failed. Not wanting to derail the thread, Gios biggest problems were of his own making
  15. Agreed and I didn't want Lampard but I wouldn't state that Lampard was a complete failure. Gio had success before coming to Rangers and ultimately failed and was sacked. Interesting to hear Clement state in his press conference today that only parts of what Souness said was reported and he has no issue with Souness or what he said.
  16. Same could be said when he manages Chelsea as Craig mentioned above. He was never NOT going to take the Chelsea job.
  17. I really can't understand this point of view. Who said Souness put Lampards name forward? Souness said of the interviewed candidates Lampard was his "favoured" choice (and gave his reasons) but also said Clement was an outstanding candidate. Souness was brought in by the board to interview the candidates they had selected. He did this and was part of the process that ended with Clement being our new manager. Whether Clement was / is the right choice, only time will tell..
  18. Sima for his work-rate. Butland a close second. Others worth a mention - Souttar, Wright, Lammers and Lundstram (2nd half).
  19. We're you privy to Lanpards interview? Do you know what he presented as his vision for Rangers? I certainly didn't want Lampard as manager, but Souness obviously saw something he liked. As Bill said, it's not about his opinion on Lampard it's about how he can contribute to Rangers going forward. I for one will welcome Souness back
  20. There is also a player in Dessers. EL Conf League and Dutch League top scorer not so long ago. His finish on Saturday showed that he can score goals if given the opportunity
  21. Why? He was asked a question and gave a very detailed response. Yet, some are simply picking up on one part o his reply. Graeme Souness will be a great addition to our club if he and the board can come to an agreement on what his role will be.
  22. Why? He explained why he thought Lampard was ideal for us and also praised Clement. He's entitled to an opinion
  23. Would be great to see Souness back in some sort of ambassador or consultancy role and I'd put him in charge or PR. Let him go after SFA, The Media, referees and the rest of our detractors.
  24. Agreed and its just as easy / simplistic to say the Gio or SG would have won that game.......
