From what I've heard the takeover will be completed in the next couple of weeks barring any last minute hitches. It should be an exciting time - new major shareholders, new manager, new season. I may live to regret saying this, but this is the most excited I've been going into a new season for years. As I said, let's strap ourselves in and see what happens.

I'm just staring what they did at Leeds and it appears they're jumping straight to 51% here but will probably look to hoover up more shares once they are on-board. They might not, they may stick at 51%, build the club up and sell their shares for a profit (which would be "win win").

If they copy their model at Leeds, they'll increase their shareholding once the become the major shareholders. I'm sure when the started at Leeds they were minority shareholders with circa 25% of the shares.

So the goalie who backed up Raskin with the sheepie fans was the hero last night as Rangers won the Glasgow Cup. In an interesting turn of events he is ex-Aberdeen Phil Maguire's son.

A very good summation of the season and agree 100%. In fact, it's a summation of this boards tenure with the exception of 55. Whilst their legacy will be remembered for saving us from the spivs it will also be remembered as one of absolute failure. Their report card would read 2/10

Yeah, but the comment from the person I know in retail stands. This seasons tops will have a "retro feel" as that's what sells. Its not about being stuck in the 90s it's about getting much needed finance into the club.

Have you looked around at games? Retro tops are what people are wearing, hence the retro look.
