Undoubtedly its a great money maker for the club. I just don't agree with it in principle and haven't joined. I know it means I lose out on away, cup semi final and final tickets.

It is an amazing number and yet some fans who shall remain nameless refuse to join MyGers. 😉
  5. I think that whilst NEH was, in theory, a good idea, there are very legitimate questions and concerns that will inevitably lead to debates. Given the EH is incomplete, is the £12M spend on EH the final cost, or is there more money required? And if so, how much more? How many concerts have been booked? We can't sustain a music venue with SP and Callum Beattie. What is the estimated annual turnover of EH? What plans are in place to ensure traffic / customers during the close-season? Hopefully Bisgrove will squeeze every last £1 out of EH but currently it is under utilised for something that was way over budget (final costs unknown?) and incomplete.
  6. Blog from 4 Lads regarding the recent boardroom changes, disabled access / facilities and NEH https://fourladshadadream.blog/2023/04/26/huge-changes-at-rangers-upon-us-new-edmiston-house-update/
  7. And I think that is still true to certain extent with some of our fanbase. All they want is a team winning trophies not matter the cost (or no thought as to where the money comes from).
  8. I'm sure it was after a 2-2 draw with Falkirk and there was a demonstration at the front door shouting for Eck's head. Then it turned on Murray and that's when we were chased 😀
  9. Heard this as well - all for him leaving but will depend on who replaces him
  10. Ah... OK then my (cough) friend is not a Rangers da 😀
  11. The protests outside the stadium consisted of about two dozen people, and at that time, I'd say the majority of fans still back Murray. It was only really the fanzines who were writing about him. As an example, my RSC had over 80 members at that time and would say less than a dozen had woken up to the reality of where it was heading. As for Brown, I may be mistaken, time and memory etc
  12. When it comes to Murray, unfortunately I, along with others were ultimately proven correct. Near the end of the Murray regime, a significant number of fans had his number, but some can still hear no wrong against him. You are assuming that "fans" equates to the entire, or majority of the fanbase. That will never happen. There is no denying that certain fans were proven correct with their fears over SDM reign.
  13. An example being?
  14. It is true, well some fans (minority) saw the inevitable outcome with Murray at the helm, and were roundly abused on forums and physically assaulted by fellow fans. As for the spivs, Sons Of Stuth, John Brown and UBs had their number quite early.
  15. If that is the case then it is completely unacceptable. Was it a C1872 board member who threatened them?
  16. I don't wear Adidas now since they sponsor that mob, Reebok classics only for this uber staunch fellow. I have been known to have a good moan/ rant every now and again tho...
  17. Don't understand this. Who did C1872 buy their latest shares from if it want DK? Who else is cashing out at 20p a share? Why didn't someone at the club buy these? How do we know C1872 haven't approached the club offering to buy shares? How does the club decide who gets to purchase shares and when? Is there a waiting list? The current board don't like C1872, and vice versa and won't deal with each other. It's all a bit childish with faults and issues on BOTH sides. Doesn't take away from the fact the C1872 are well within their rights to buy shares from whomever they wish, especially if its under the current market value (as someone was going to buy them presumably).
  18. They did when it came to David Murray and the spivs.....
  19. Rangers da's is a term I've never fully understood - what is a Rangers da? Asking for a "friend" as "he" wants to know of he is a Rangers da! Anyway, given the level of questions allowed at the AGM, I'm sure the board will be on "safe ground".
  20. Hope you reconsider in the future @Frankie but ultimately its your decision which you'll make for the right reason(s).
  21. I didn't deny that - but it's OK for organisations to have a number of priorities and I'm sure Rangers fans safety is high on the list of RSA priorities.
  22. It was you who brought it up.
  23. So you don't think there should be communication between club and fans?
  24. Oh dear? Really? Should have been happening for years.
  25. I would hope that the RSA are not only trying to get RSC more tickets, I'd like to think they are attempting to engage with the board on the many issues Rangers fans encounter on out travels. Like the horrendous issues safely accessing grounds like Easter Road, Livingston and Killie (to name 3) where the lack of operational turnstiles, policing or stewarding means crushes and fans missing some of the game. I hope they are also highlighting how we are policed differently and use Parkhead as an example. We're rounded up, stuck in early, get bottles thrown at us, then run a gauntlet when leaving. When they come to Ibrox, they are given safe access and exit. Maybe they are also engaging the club on how the Police and Stewards (at all grounds) are more concerned about stopping fans entering with water and cans of juice than fans with alcohol and banners that say Kill All H#ns. May be I'm being a bit optimistic and you are right, maybe they only want more tickets for RSC.
