I see what you are saying, but in some games, we've been wasteful and could and should have won by 6 or 7 goals (Hibs and Hearts away spring to mind). But we do have a tendency to shoot ourselves in the foot and only react once we conceded. Today we had chances - Alfies goal wrongly chopped off and he had another header he was unlucky with. Tav was also close with a header that would have given him a hatrick. They also had chances. We are clearly a team in transition and as well as a keeper, we need someone who can take more chances but prolific goalscorers don't come cheaply.

Why are you not hanging out Davies, Soutar and McGregor rather than Tillman, Kent and Beale? We lost the game because Davies couldn't head a ball, Soutar played a short pass and McGregor is as slow as me. Nothing to do with Beale, Kent of Tillman. Your take on the game and the reasons we lost suggest we were watching different games. Also, who do you suggest replaces Beale? And would they (whomever they are) be able to stop players making basic errors? Your hatred towards Beale is bordering on restraining order material.

You are correct but matter who is the manager, if players keep making individual errors in big games, we'll continue to struggle. Today it was Davies, Soutar and McGregor and previously its been Tav, Borna, Alfie et al. Today's game was even and I was surprised at that. Thought it was going to be another 3 or 4 goal drubbing. However a defeat is a defeat and struggling to take anything positive from today at the moment Congratulations to Tav getting to 100 goals but we cant keep relying on our right back to score in big games (the Europa League run as an example). Gerting the recruitment 100% correct in the summer is essential.

Once again we make too many errors in games like today. Davies, Soutar, McGregor all need to take personal responsibility. Not forgetting the errors fromnthe officials but once again we only have ourselves to blame. League was lost well before today's game and now we must do everything in our power to win the semi-final but given our tendency to shoot ourselves in the foot, that seems highly unlikely. Dismal season can't end soon enough.

Getting harder and harder to defend these players. Error after error after error in these big games. League was lost well before today but there is nothing from these players, absolutely nothing. Huge rebuild required and we'll be spending peanuts
