Hearing rumours that Goldson is out of today's game. -
If they can't "shine" or "kick on" at the likes of Partick Thistle and / or Falkirk, they aren't going to be the next "Patterson". Weston looked a more promising prospect in my humble opinion but never looked likely to remove the likes of Alfie, Roofe, Colak et Al from the 1st team squad. If young Lovelace has the right attitude and application he *may* make the breakthrough.

If you've seen any footage of this, you'll see how wrong this call was. I was right in-line with it and was obvious he was in his box. Just one of many baffling ae changing decisions made by the officials.

Saw his debut for the B Team and he looked decent but no better than the likes of Tony Weston. A few Falkirk fans I know said he started looking good for them when he was in loan then Rangers recalled him. Mental to think there was a clamour for him to replace Alfie when he scored a few goals for the B Team. Wish him all the best in the future.

Found this from an interview John Bennet gave FourFourTwo magazine in 2021 - it appears he is just a football fan looking to invest and chose us. “John Halstead is based in the USA and is a very interested follower of European football. Frankly, he had his choice of which club he could invest in. He chose Rangers for a reason – he sees the heritage, the history and also sees the future.
-
Tillman, Cantwell and Davies were three best players - Tillman gets my vote for his two goals.
-
Below is an extract from an article from 2021 when he initially invested John Halstead, a UK-based 56-year old executive, is listed as the owner of the shares held by Perron – this entity appears to be his own individual investment arm. Harvard educated Halstead is a managing partner at Pamplona Investments LLC, an international equity house which “has raised five private equity funds with total committed capital of $11 billion since its inception in 2005.”

Its a yellow unless a goalscoring opportunity - this wasn't a goalscoring opportunity. This ref will go far in Scottish Football.
-
3-1 Celtic and Rangers down to 9 men. Rice 2 yellows. Ref is an utter joke.
-
Anyone at the B game? Rangers started well took the lead then our keeper red carded and Celtic equalise. Today's ref on course to be fast tracked to SPL. He is horrendous.

Win 2-0 every week and we win the treble - if that happens nobody will care about the performances -

Predictable responses to the performance which wasn't as bad as some are making out. -

Goal and Kents effort apart, been a very drab 1st half against a team who have no intention of playing football. Hopefully a couple more goals for us in 2nd half. -

At Ibrox, outwith the UBs there is little or no vocal support for the team. -

Legitimate protest (in their and others opinion) from a section of fans isn't muppetry and I don't see it as negative either. -

I think the UBs will support the team - you can do both. -
Does the turn-over or profit and loss for the Academy get published as part of the accounts? I wonder if a Bassey and Patterson every decade is sufficient to cover the costs of running the Academy. I dont think its necessary to have an Academy for league membership as didn't a few clubs close their Academy during covid (Falkirk spring to mind)?

Hopefully he features in the B game in Sunday.

I've not mentioned the RIFC board with exemption of Park where I questioned his reluctance to appoint a full time chair. Said previously the protests against Murray were futile as there was nothing that us protesting could do or achieve, other than highlight SDM steering the good ship Rangers to disaster. However, no matter how much evidence was "presented" we were decried as "moon howlers" and didn't know what we were talking about. Which is fine, everyone sees things differently. Same goes for Robertson and Wilson. Some fans may think they are doing a fantastic job, others may think differently. Both sides of the debate are entitled to their views and to openly express these. Maybe we'll see banners in support of Wilson and Robertson at games in the future.
